When I sailed on Eurodam to Alaska I found myself saying how this or that was the best food I’d ever had on a cruise. The best music variety I’d ever heard in a cruise. I feel like HAL has been this amazing secret that cruisers are just discovering.

This makes me so happy that we booked this ship for next March. We love to relax by the water, have some great food and cocktails and listen to music. We are not big show people so even though the shows might be lacking for some people we would skip them anyway. This definitely looks like a great cruise for us. Great video as always!

Happy sigh - this reminded me why I love HAL and have missed cruising it. I'm booked up for cruises for 2023, but I'm going to have to get back on HAL for 2024. And yeah, I estimate that I'm your age - relaxed entertainment for those who don't qualify for Social Security for quite a few years. :)

HAL is definitely a different experience all around. We love the Crows Nest for morning coffee and evening cocktails, it’s so relaxing. The MDR for our group was rushed, then slow and so on…but the food was good, i wouldn’t say excellent, but good. I love your reviews… I’m cruising vicariously through u! 😊

Good representation of an HAL cruise. Did you experience the Indonesian High Tea? Also HAL has a good embarkation lunch in MDR. Nice way to start the cruise.

Hollands food is so good with one odd miss with their weird interpretation of hash and eggs. It was oddly sweet

We love the Crows Nest on Holland America. Great if you have booked an inside cabin. I find it difficult when going on other cruises that there is no sitting area like the Crows Nest.

They've removed it from a few older ships, from what we've heard. Hopefully it's still alive and well on the Pinnacle-class ships at least, because we really enjoyed it!!
