Anyone else notice that in this episode Tirek had absolutely no problem controlling discord's chaos magic, but in the last 2 episodes of season 9 it's literraly the whole plotpoint that noone but discord can control it and the 3 villains (including Tirek) can't absorb it at all. Honestly it's one of the most bothersome plotholes.

@@itsentdev that is waaay too big of a leap in logic, now I could try and make a point about how tirek's cage was very far away from everyone but cozy's cage and how all other creatures in tartarus seemed to be magical animals rather than villains, I would also argue that discord did seem very worried, even more so than in the final 2 parts but the truth is we have absolutely no reason to assume your theory to be correct, not only it was it never explained or even hinted at in the show, but there isn't even a shred of evidence to support your claim.

Luna's "ink blot" is dapple. It is not part of her cutie mark. Starlight moves it to Celestia's flank when she switches Celestia's and Luna's cutie marks because Luna's cutie mark is pure white and it would not show up on Celestia's equally pure white flank otherwise.

I saw it as that in this episode when they transferred their magic, the dapple did not leave cause its not the cutie mark but instead a left over of nightmare moon. But when starlight switched them, i think she did not only change the cutie marks but also the destinies and what the pony is so the nightmare moon’s left over got transferred to celestia when she cast the spell

@@Wisteria_Therian Which shows “Daybreaker”. I knew about it being a leftover from nightmare moon but now everything is soo clear. Also I think Celestia’s mane is a result of her banishing her sister with the elemts of harmony and how she could have prevented it all and Luna’s mane again nigtmare moon. And that takes a little time cause when Luna comes back she has her blue non-flowing mane but after a while she has flowing mane. So I believe that Celestia had a pink mane and after she banished her sister she got the rainbow mane which will torment her for eternity. Even tho show says that Celestia had that mane before

He started in part 1 by building up how great the lockbox would be, then went and stalled Tirek with his shenanigans, and then wouldn't betray Twiggles until Tirek gave him the object that would finally unlock the box for them, thus allowing them to activate 80s Mode and defeat him. He made sure Twi never viewed herself higher than her friends, then made sure he was her friend, and then he could befriend Tirek and get the final key for Twilight.
