I honestly found it kinda depressing how it just starts with normal footage of it throughout the years, and then just- what it became in TOV3 It also hurts me how it caused Wyatt's death, why was it so hellbent on causing harm to Wyatt, like did it want him dead that badly? I'm not sure what the giant's situation is, if it's just some murderous entity or if it's angry about something, but I assume it thinks that inflicting pain will make it feel better about what's happening to it

if you notice, right when wyatt says "i dont like this thing" is when the paranormal activity starts. some people thinkin that the art gallery doesnt like to be critiqued, who knows tho

This is how I was feeling when TOV came out! There will be more information on this in the future but basically, before TOV 3’s release there was leaks of the giant going around in Kane’s discord, and at first people were unnerved by him but as the months went on and more photos were found people began to love the giant and find a beauty to it. Some were even hoping the giant would be a much more peaceful lifeform because of the photos of him looking so happy with other people around. So it did catch some a bit off guard to see how aggressive he acted in TOV 3. Not to say we didn’t mostly expect it to be evil, especially because the giant is generally unnerving in most places, but after what we learned of him it did feel a bit sadder to see. Some have theorized the giant is aggressive because of being destroyed and left behind by its creator in the mall who was never actually able to retrieve the giant in time. It is a sad story to say the least of how the giant was once loved and then was abandoned and grew angry.

Yeah I looked into it too and Kane and his team even tried to contact both the artist and the people in charge of the mall demolition and at this point nobody knows where the giant is. Probably destroyed. I even reached out myself lol but they didn't respond. @@PADARM

Do you think the giant intended to harm? Was it misunderstood? Perhaps it's creepy nature only made it appear aggressive. It's backstory is also quite sad. Julian the real life man was also a good man who just liked plants and flowers.

I personally think there's much more to the Giant than just what we see in the video. I really don't know if he intended actual harm, or if he was trying to stop Wyatt from leaving for a different reason. We'll have to see with whatever comes next, I suppose.

I agree. It's heartbreaking to see what happened, especially considering that the Beck family has professed in the past how important the works of Dallas artists are to them. At the same time, due to a miscommunication, they thought the Giant had been abandoned and that he was unwanted. For the demo team, he was simply in the way.

Listen i know that everyone is all like “ah the evil creature from da kane video! Scary!” I’m really glad that something like this is able to get preserved in a meaningful way. It’s these small moments in history that are too small for more than a few people remember that get lost to time. This was somebody’s story, and that any of us get to see it at all is a small miracle. Kane pixel’s video is brilliant👏Amazing👏Incredible👏 But I’m loving the most how clearly he and those who helped make this a reality cared about the giant. I’m also glad to hear that-from my understanding, at least-the original artist was cool with their piece being turned into a spooky monster lol

the kane pixels video is really cool, because the "rolling giant" figure really looks like a monster that would chase people, but it's also a representation of someone who once existed, and I find the idea of monsters that are statues very scary, even more so the rolling giant which is a giant statue

There’s one thing that’s not clear to me. This video is an absolute master piece montage, then some weeks later Kane Pixels makes something almost the same and no one talks about this one. I mean if I’m honest Kane Pixels was not the one with this type of video in the first place, this guy was! It was created by a company called “Oil and Colton”, which I’m pretty sure was owned by the creator of the Considerant giant. I’m not completely sure of how they found it, but Kane posted some parts of it onto his other channel “Not Kane Pixels”. The video was for a projector, I’d just recommend looking up “Oil and Colton, La Reunion TX” and hope you find it somehow.

They watched it at a workshop owned by “Oil and Colton”, which helped with the parade. The footage was likely posted onto something like Facebook or something, but the video they’re watching was a tutorial from a website.

From some comments it says there was also dead people beside the horse, and it the meaning of those is separate. According to them it means “it’s hopeless” and “give up” since he was trying to escape, the giant was apparently telling him there no point

Some time in either the late 60s or 70s, the Valley View Mall had some event where they brought in a man with a highly trained horse and he just do tricks with it in front of an audience. I'm sure Kane found it when going down the Mall rabbit hole. Source: r/kanepixelsbackrooms
