Ok the clucking like a chicken is also hilarious. These birds are amazing. If they weren't such a commitment I would own 1. I admire the dedication it takes to successfully own 1 of these, I equally abhor seeing birds with all their feathers pulled out from anxiety. Please don't get a bird unless you're prepared to have a pet who lives for decades and may well outlive you,and who also requires a LOT OF attention and care.

I own a cockatiel and its pretty hard but cute bc they need attention, also never give your bird sweets like how that guy let his cockatiel eat that pancake or whatevr it is, birds can eat some fruits and vegies but not things like pancakes and sweets

Yeah, that's right. So much easier just having these KZbin 'virtual pets' -- no time / attention commitment, no vet / food bills, no worrying about whether they might be ill, no guilt about them not being in the wild. Same reason I chose not to raise any human kids, or have a girlfriend, or live in a house. The _simple_ life!

Truer words have never been spoken. Having a bird, especially a parrot, is a massive commitment and tho very rewarding it’s definitely not for everyone. There are far too many birds who end up unwanted and miserable because people don’t realise how much hard work and sacrifice is involved in their care. It’s not unlike having a child.

If I was 20yrs younger I would have 2 Indian Ringneck birds, and a cat..😊..I would have raised them together. Thanks for this funny and amazing compilation video. It proved how parrots of any size can provide great companionship and laughs for his/her owner as well as the people they interact with. My cockatiel Chipper has proven all that with his sweet and interactive personality and he enjoys "hamming it up" with his vocal repertoire. I think people overlook parrots as pets because unfortunately they're not promoted as that--on TV, the focus is mostly on dogs(not that I have anything against dogs). Again, thanks for this great video!
