Hi Parseval Music, thanks for the video! Id like to use this pattern to make a song around. How do you licence this beat? Would you allow another artist to build on it without copyright claiming it? Thanks, Sam x

@@ParsevalMusic it's very hard to transcribe real samba into midi, samba has a really distinctive human feel than is exceptionally hard to replicate on a computer. hope you can experience it yourself :)

dear @@moonjuicyy you're perfectly right! I have the bigger respect for the human touch in playing. My videos are very basic and aim to give an Idea of the drum pattern. I love to hear from you about your best Samba Artists if you wish :P Many thanks from Italy!

Looks for drummers: Teo Lima, Celso de Almeida, Carlos Bala, Thiago Rabelo, Herivelton Silva, Marcio Bahia, Nenê batera, these are among the ten greatest from Brazil and search for their sambas on drums. It´s essencial not confusing samba with rhumba, there´s nothing we hate more than messing samba with other latin america rhythms. And as says the lyrics: It don´t mean a thing if you ain´t got the swing. Not only playing the samba, but playing with the right SWING. Good luck !
@ParsevalMusic7 жыл бұрын
Well, actually I tried basically to transcribe a basic pattern presented by Mike Michalkow, to keep things easy .. anyway I'll get into that deeper asap... but I believe you! Thanks for your advice Dihelson, you're welcome anytime !!

Thanks for the comment, which that´s very kind of you. I have composed around 300 pieces and made a book, but I haven´t played or recorded them yet for youtbe. I hope our band could record some of them soon. Count on me, if I can help about Brazilian rhythm materials or anything, I´m always trying to help.
