As we start the book of Leviticus, we consider some of the gross misunderstandings most Christians have concerning the Levitical sacrificial system. Then we look at an odd letter in the first word of Leviticus and an amazing word used nine times in the first nine verses. And what do the sacrifices have to do with El Al Airlines?!

What a fantastic lesson. I went to a Bible study last Thursday and they’re teaching the sacrificial system in Leviticus and how it’s constitutional. Seemed superficial so it caused me to dig into a book I have this weekend by Lancaster on what about sacrifices. But the best part is what happened this morning: I told a friend about you several months ago, and not realizing she’s been following you on the videos, and she sent me this one today. Mr. Luton, I’ve written to you before and again, you never disappoint. You’ve become one of my favorite authors/teacher. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless you and your family a hundred fold. Blessings and shalom Grant! This is (once again) a wonderful and powerful teaching from the Torah! Thank you for enlightening us with the intricate details of HaShem’s Words! Coming out of “Christianity” and into the truth of Adonai, I see (now) how important it is to read/see in context and perspective. I, too, looked at the sacrificial system as most westernized churches do, but this really opens up a bigger and better picture to me! I praise Adonai for you and your ministry to help and teach and guide us to truly (finally) grasp His Torah and Words in truth! Shalom!

Thank you, I will. The main reason I do not include vowel marks in the notes is because there are no vowel marks in the original Hebrew. Those were added later, but are not inspired of God. It seems that He did not want us to always see only one meaning to each word, but to see the array of meanings and messages each word contains.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. But we need Messiah for all the same reasons we have always needed Him.
