The Parsi community, known for its rich cultural heritage and profound contributions to India's progress, is facing a decline in population. Parsis have played a crucial role in shaping India's industry, arts, and philanthropy, leaving an indelible mark on the nation. It is vital to encourage efforts towards revitalizing their population, preserving their unique traditions, and celebrating their enduring legacy in India’s history and development.

@incognitouser82563 жыл бұрын
Yes Zoroastrians in South Asia are referred as Parsis because they are from Persia(now Iran) and they speak Farsi. In India they are usually from Gujarat or Maharashtra(as their ancestors escaped from Persia to protect their religion from Muslim conversion and first arrived in Gujarat) speak Gujarati or Marathi. There are almost 500 Parsi people in Chennai. They are financially very well off (at least most of them). Great example of Parsi is the Tata steel founder JN Tata and Godrej. In Tamil we call them Parasiyargal.

what an idiot, Vedic religion fell because it was unreformed and violent, gave rise to Jainism and Buddhism but then Hinduism reformed itself and retook India from Buddhists due efforts of great saint Adi Shankaracharya, whereas Buddhist weaklings laid down before Muslim invaders or converted Hinduism due to fall of religious patronage of Buddhist kingdoms. Since Buddhism was lot dependent on patronage of kings unlike Hinduism which could survive even in remote villages.
