Brother Tourvashu, I am an Indian Zoroastrian from Gujarat. Thank you so much for showing us our ancestral place & explaining all stuff, all info so correctly 😊🙏🏻. Lots of love & Respect to you from me & on behalf of our community. Wish you a very great & amazing life ahead. There is one more interesting thing I would like to tell you is, the city I live in is "Navsari" city in Gujarat. According to the Parsi tradition, in 1142 A.D., when Parsis first came to Navsari, the city was named Nag Mandal. The Parsis found the city's atmosphere similar to that of the Sari (Mazandaran Province) region of Iran. In the Persian language, "now" means new, and "Sari" refers to the region in Iran, hence the name Naoo Sari (Navsari). Two families of Parsi Zoroastrian priests settled in Navsari in the early 13th century, and the town soon emerged as the major center of the Parsi priesthood and religious authority. It is the home of the Bhagarsath Atash Behram (Atash Behram = Fire Temple) established in 1765, which is now a World Heritage Site. Notable Parsi (Zoroastrian) people Born in Navsari are : Dadabhai Naoroji, known as the "Grand Old Man of India. Homai Vyarawalla, first woman photojournalist of India. Jamsetji Tata, founder of what would later become the Tata Group of companies, regarded as the "father of Indian industry". Kurush Deboo, Indian film actor, famous for Munnabhai M.B.B.S. as Dr. Rustom Pavri, was born in Navsari. Navsari is also famous for Dandi beach where Mahatma Gandhi ji did Dandi March for salt Satyagraha.

Eastern Iran was practically part of Vedic civilization and at the time Afghanistan was completely Vedic. They say Zoroaster was born in Afghanistan and traveled to Persia and spread his teachings. Zoroaster was most likely a Brahmin or a Rishi/sage from Afghanistan during the late Vedic era. Even the Avesta has the word Dahman which comes from the word Dharma. Hence why Sanskrit and Avesta are sister languages and Avesta is another dialect of Sanskrit.

Religions in Iran is divided into three phases- 1) Pre Zorastrian, 2) Zoroastian and 3) Islamic. Pre Zoroastrian was very similar to Hinduism of Vedic period. Mitra, Varuna, Agni etc. used to be widely worshiped in Pre Zoroastrian time. Parsis of India generally hesitate in accepting this. However western and Iranian scholars widely speak this Vedic similarities of Pre Zoroastrian era. One interesting thing I learned from an Iranian lady that some sculptures show Hindu warriors used to be part of Cyrus the great's army.

Zoroaster word comes from Saurashtra. At different points of times, Linguists in India decided to shift alphabets of Sanskrit for creating popular languages. S became H in western Indian and beyond languages. That's how even today in Gujarati language and Persian, S becomes H. PS: through Balochistan, Gujarat and Persia were directly connected. Persian culture comes from Southern Persia which is Iranian Balochistan. The people there looked Indian only as you can see in his other videos

@@proudindian4312 Iranians are intelligent people. There is a reason why they accepted Islam. Salman Al Farisi the son of the Zoroastrian head priest was the first Zoroastrian who accepted Islam. When he heard of a Prophet in Mecca he travelled all the way from Persia to meet him. He studied him and later became his staunch follower. The Prophet Muhamed said "Whoever believes in God and the Hereafter, he should honour his guest. Whoever believes in God and the Hereafter, he should talk well or remain silent.” (Narrated by Bukhari) This is the reason why the Iranians are honouring the Indian tourist.

No wonder this graceful community are now a business leader in India.🙏

Parsees are only those Zrorastrians who migrated to India before 14th century from Iran. Those Zrorastrians from Iran who migrated from 17th century onwards are not Parsees. They call themselves Iranis. Aruna Irani, Bomman Irani, Sayana are Iranis and are Zrorastrians. Parsee panchayat does everything in their power to destroy the community, by imposing all possible restrictions. It is high time they loosened up a bit without diluting their identity much. May be it is too late now.

Absolutely incredible place this is! So much history! I'm beyond amazed knowing about Iran, it's people, culture, history. An absolute gem! And, Tourvashu, your outstanding historical information! Take a bow! If me and you would have travelled together, then I would love to bombard you with technical information which I love to share :) Lastly, your host Muhammad is a true guide! I don't think anyone else would have taken you to the places he took you to!

@@jyotsna8805 😀 Ya, the thought was good, but practically difficult to implement. Although I also like to travel the way Tourvashu does, but such travels can only be experienced alone. When you travel with someone, things would obviously be a little different. Not impossible though, but very difficult.

@@yusefkhan1752 may be but not by sword or by forceful converstion Buddhism lost its relevance in India just because it's failed to prove itself before sanathan dharm theoretically , but unfortunately entirely wiped out in Afghanistan Pakistan due to cruel invasion by Arabs, that's true!! Entire globes knows how much Sikhs and hindus safe in Pakistan so don't dare to talk abou Sikhs they are safe and enjoying full freedom in India with hindus!!!

Zoroastrianism or Mazdayasna is an Iranian religion and one of the world's oldest continuously-practiced organized faiths, based on the teachings of the Iranian-speaking prophet Zoroaster (also known as Zaraθuštra in Avestan or as Zartosht in Persian). It has a dualistic cosmology of good and evil within the framework of a monotheistic ontology and an eschatology which predicts the ultimate conquest of evil by good. Zoroastrianism exalts an uncreated and benevolent deity of wisdom known as Ahura Mazda (lit. 'Lord of Wisdom') as its supreme being.[4] Historically, the unique features of Zoroastrianism, such as its monotheism,[5] messianism, belief in free will and judgement after death, conception of heaven, hell, angels, and demons, among other concepts, may have influenced other religious and philosophical systems, including the Abrahamic religions and Gnosticism, Northern Buddhism, and Greek philosophy.

@@yusefkhan1752 Hahaha read about actual history. It was Bakhtiyar Khilji who destroyed Nalanda monastery and several other Buddhist and Hindu temples. The Bamiyan Buddhas were blown up by Taliban. Sikhism itself was formed to protect against the atrocities of Islamic mughals. Guru Tegh Bahadur was brutally assassinated by Aurangzeb. Also, the term "Dravidian" as a race was used only by the British. Please do not show your ignorance publicly.

@@AK-10001 Buddhism died in India because Shankaracharya declared Gautam Buddha to be an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Also, after Mauryas, the new kings were very hostile towards Buddhism. Example is Pushyamitra Sunga. He made his life's mission to eradicate Buddhism. Otherwise, Buddhism was a better way of life than your mainline hinduism.

Parsis were actually Hindus who migrated or were part of vedic civilization and belong to parshwa clan as mentioned in the rigveda . Their avesta has many sanskrit shlolas and many in distorted form of the vedas. Zoroaster was a preacher whose teaching were more into practice but they were the first to get converted to Islam

Well yes but they were not Hindus but influenced by Vedic Dharma. Not only them folk religions of China, Japan, Vietnam, Korea and so on also Pagan religions of Arabia, Hellenism of ancient Greece, Norse religion and many more. Hinduism was the major religion in All sauth asian and sauth east asian countries. Buddhism is also highly influenced by Hinduism.
