Can you Reply how can we Revive Zoroastrianism in Iran
@heart1274 жыл бұрын
@@Thomas__Shelby__02__ you can’t really revive the religion besides producing bunch of kids with people from this same culture! Cuz in this culture you are not allowed to marry outside of your religion! And you can’t convert into this religion! You have to be born in the religion...even this person “Mia” might not be accepted cuz she is half a Parsi! It’s a sad thing cuz I love the Parsi people since they are really humble and nice people if you are friends with them! In fact my bf is Parsi but its not accepted to marry out of religion so we are in a lingo for 5 years since if we had kids they might not be accepted in their temples.

At the time of the Muslim conquest of Persia, the dominant religion of the region (which was ruled by the Sasanian Empire) was Zoroastrianism. Iranians such as Babak Khorramdin rebelled against Muslim conquerors for almost 200 years.During this time many Iranians (who are now called Parsis since the migration to India) chose to preserve their religious identity by fleeing from Persia to India

The exact date of the Parsi migration is unknown. According to tradition, the Parsis initially settled at Hormuz on the Persian Gulf but finding themselves still persecuted they set sail for India, arriving in the 8th century. The migration may, in fact, have taken place as late as the 10th century, or in both.
