Incredible to think that I haven’t seen the outside world since Christmas Day & thankfully these videos have kept me sane. Hopefully back on the road again next week, after what I describe as a seriously, nasty flu bug, for both my wife and myself. The last time I felt so bad is when I had COVID, which nearly wiped me out al together. Looking forward to a new year and helping Bill deliver some quality videos of different places with in the area. A big thank you to Bill , for at least stopping us crawling the walls at a certain hour of the day and keeping us sane.

What a lovely drop of weather and the queue at TeignBean🙀. Not seen that pic of Parsons Tunnel before😻. The tunnel was the last section of single track south and west of Exeter to be doubled hence the widening. 😺

Thanks, Bill for a great video. Beautiful weather, if rather windy. Hope you had your hat on! Enjoyed seeing all those trains, especially the Trainbow carriages.! The info/pics of Parson's Tunnel were interesting. The AI brings it to life, if sometimes strange results...Lucky you, living so near to all that beautiful coastal and countryside scenery.

I noticed those concrete slabs the other day Bill - I think they're the tops of the concrete troughs that contain signalling cables. Network Rail had some staff down that way earlier in the week.

Wow 12 trains thats a good session and a crossover far away at the end also lovely weather but i find it too cold to see trains and yes obviously i would wrap up warm but I'll still be freezing

Hi Bill, on the Railway you will see a White Signpost Showing a Black “W” which harks back to the Days of Steam, where the Driver was Obliged to Sound The Whistle, or These days Toot the Horn - Perhaps the Sign needs upgrading to a “T” 😉 - You could try Charming Rufus with Some Mealie Worms which seem very popular with our Robin 👍🏻

Yes, the whistle sign 'Apparently' is mandatory for some rail companies yet only optional for others - So you can never be sure if you have a 'Happy Train' at Sprey Point or not!I I did have some meal worms actually, but I think I used them up! I must remember to get some more !

Actually, its for anyone who lives on / owns property in Woodland Avenue - Part of the deeds are that they have access to the beach, via the cliff steps and permission to cross the rail tracks!
