I noticed in your video the starboard engine running 1500rpm while the port engine was running 1800rpm. Is there a reason for that?
@jeepmanking357712 күн бұрын
@@neilmccuaig7933 you are correct and very good observations when we bought the boat the starboard tachometer was off. I used a digital tachometer to verify. Many times the tachometer would drift all over the place on one of my videos.l, I show how I fixed the drifting tachometer it’s in my playlist as well..

I love thunderstorms on land and have a tendency to run to the front porch to hear upclose the billows of God's voice across the hills as its echoed thru the valleys ,,,, but this was something different on water to witness because I realized that each of those wonderful droplets of water and hail particles lost in the BELLY of the river would someday recycle and continue to bring joy to my soul as they display once again their purpose,,,, to water our land so to feed our BELLIES as they are carried about in the clouds of lightning & thunder whether on land or water it doesn't get any better than that!! Thanks FIT FOR A KING for the ride ! AHOY

Did you go all of 174 miles on 150 gals of gas I figured at 1.6 miles a gallon you use 93.75 gallons is that about right
@pilot411862 жыл бұрын
What was your fuel use for that trip? Noticed you were keeping her slow
@jeepmanking35772 жыл бұрын
We managed to get 1.6 mpg running both engines avg speed 8.5 mph or 7.5 knots. I know the gas was about 1.5 years old, so with fresh gas 1.8 mpg might be possible. We was loaded with gear so it wasn’t stripped down for the trip.

I am buying me a 32 ft marinette sedan it has two 318 225 hp they want $18000 it a 1975 year I don’t no if the price is good or bad that why I ask about the gas mileage
@jeepmanking35772 жыл бұрын
Prices can be all over the place for these boats, depends upon the condition and then of course the location. May have to pay more just to get a boat close to you. I got lucky I paid 20,000 for mine and it included a trailer.
