Yes, me too. These old matches are so much closer to the golf I play (course conditions and sub 250 yd drives) than modern PGA.

I played this course with my brother in, I believe 2015. Quite a challenge, where local knowledge reins supreme.

So much more character than they could ever conjure up today.. When they introduced the scorekeepers, I could just have well been getting ready for a game of CLUE. ''Keeping score will be Shelby Plum, lovely daughter of Professor Plum.'' I always love watching Casper play and what a treat to see Harry Bradshaw hit that low hook in the wind. Who can do that nowadays?

I think the real chislers are the ones paying a kid to work for 4 hours for only 20 cents. When Sarazen talks about Bradshaw's swing, it sounded like he said because of his build he has to swing fat.
