Been binge watching your videos ! love to see El Salvador slowly but surely shedding from its poor past. As an ethnic central american born in the United States, I longer for my home country, El Salvadors neighbor(Guatemala) to follow in the footsteps of E.S. Maybe one day right ? Bukele has shown us it can be done, hopefully times are changing for the better in Latin America

I certainly hope that Bukele has an influence over the surrounding countries because the safety that people have here now is immeasurable. I watch Murphslife on youtube as well and in one interview he gave he said that he had spoken to a man who didn't have the money to pay for the extortion by the gangs here in the past and they raped his 3 year old daughter in front of him. I cannot imagine living here in a time that that could have even been a possibility. This country has come soooo far from where it was. My kids have found friends in our community and I DON'T feel scared if they are out at night visiting their friends in our community. But is the past that would have never happened. I just saw a post from our old neighbourhood in Ontario, a 16 years old Trans boy/girl allegedly just killed a 15 year old boy in Perth Ontario. I believe that trans boy/girl was in my son's class last year, Canada is not safe but El Salvador is, and it is a culturally better place to raise my kids.
