New Zealand CAP program review Malayalam This video is part of the series of videos regarding New Zealand CAP programs. CAP or Competency Assessment Program is the adaptation program for nurses to help register and practice as a nurse in New Zealand. Recently we have been witnessing 5-10% of CAP students becoming unsuccessful during their CAP programs. This video is to help nurses to identify some of the issues they may face during the cap program. This is a Question and Answer (Q&A) session with Saju Cherian who is one of the senior nurses in New Zealand and is an Associate Charge Nurse in e one of the DHB's in New Zealand. Saju Cherian was recently elected as a member of NZNO Board of Directors and has been living in New Zealand for the last 15 years. Saju Cherian has been immensely helping a lot of migrating nurses & other community members during their ups & downs, whenever they need some support & assistance etc. Saju Cherian also assist a lot of CAP students, especially the students who face issues with CAP programs and act as a support person for them. By making this video, I am aiming to spread awareness about the issues some of the CAP nurses face in New Zealand and spread the message and amazing work Saju Cherian & people like him do. I work in IT and a lot of things Saju mentioned are same across industries. I am often involved in interview process and in panels as well. In fact we ask most basic questions, look at their mannerism, assess will they be a team fit etc.. It is some of these factors that helps us to choose a candidate over highly experienced players
