Nice video :) The sign you saw with what looked like a W S was, in fact, a sign about parking. It said ที่จอดรถฟรี which means, free parking :)

eaziest way to help people on bikes that ran out of gas is have a glass wine bottle with a cork or screw lid (plastic bottle can melt from the gas) filled with fuel in youre car , if they are out of gas just give them the bottle and youre back on youre way , the liter or so of gas should get them to the next point where they can buy more , more likely that they have a flat tire or engine trouble though as for extending youre rent on the car : wouldnt be supprized if you could call them and request the extention without going by the company or do it online (might need to pay through youre creditcard )

Hi. Thanks for that. I haven't "youtubed" in a while so much of the data in this is likely old. Sorry about that. Enjoy Thailand!!

You should land at Krabi Internationa Airport if you prefer to land at a less busy airport.

@@alexanderwindsor996 thanks for that tip. I sometimes use Surat Thani when going to Phangan/Samui as well. That said, this video was made at a Covid-time when almost all airports were empty. Thanks for watching and your comment. Live the Dream!!!

Didn’t seem too bad. Was it automatic or manual? And were you used to driving on the opposite side of the street/car from any previous trips? I want to do this but curious about how I’d adapt to the change. Any kind of advice on the overall experience?
@LiveMyAssOff3 жыл бұрын
It was Automatic. I actually found driving the car on the other side to be an easier experience than driving the motorbike. Now, it's super easy.

You need some Rain-X, or similar product

Ah hah!! I used rain-x many times growing up in Mass. It worked quite well. Coca cola works in a pinch too ;-)

A mobile exploring HQ with AC ! The only drawback is that the general Thai population will have less exposure to your snazzy shirts and bike helmet ! Seriously, thanks for showing a way to those of us for whom a motor bike is not a good idea. Enjoy yourself. Take care.
