This film reminds me of the pride I felt when one day I realized the student had become the teacher. All those years of dragging my son around the forest with much success to boot, had paid off! I found myself watching him distance me up hills and in tough terrain, his legs were young and mine had grown older. His sense of direction and level of savvy in the back country was quickly superseding mine. I was watching him become a man as my body slowed significantly over time. Though just 53, health conditions have kept me grounded from the passion that I now get to live through him. Great job, another fantastic film!

What I wouldn’t give to have one more hunt in the field with my dad. Everything I know about hunting and the outdoors I learned from him. Every hunting season I miss him more and more. What a blessing for all of you to experience time in Idaho’s backcountry. I’ve been here my whole life.
