Mna Siba into endayifundayo ukubangu Makoti is that having your own house ezilalini is a big deal. It saves you from a lot of things. I think it saves the relationship between you and your inlaws as well. I didn't have that and I had a not so good experience staying with the inlaws during holidays. They had so much expectations from me and they were unfair. The Bible says a man leaves his mother and father and they become one flesh. I feel like it's slavery to do those makoti duties. I don't see a need to prove yourself to the inlaws uba ungumfazi oright for their son. Don't get me wrong. I did it but, I found it to be so unfair and slavery. I feel uba a couple has to create their own culture, like Christmas day is hard to spend it without your blood family, especially when they treat you like you're not their daughter like you're a nanny. Just saying. I wish you all happiness dear.

@wendyjantjies8766 Honestly, other things have to be unlearned. Our parents endured certain unpleasant situations but, it doesn't mean that we have to do the same. The best advice is that, a married couple should have their own house. If you spend Christmas with the inlaws as a woman, you just arrive there with the food you prepared at your own house. After spending time with them, you can leave and go to your own house. Akho kwanto elalisa pha. Umntu bekufanele uba alale kwakhe avuke kwakhe.
