Awesome, I've always loved Glastron boats. My friend's aunt had an early 70s Glastron tri-hull on Lake Mohawksin inTomahawk, WI. She owned that boat for years! It was orange. What a classic. Smooth rider. Wonder what ever happened to that boat. Last I saw it was about 20 years old and still like new. In the 80s it was re-powered with a Johnson 85, and it flew pretty good across that big lake.

My Uncle had a 1958 Glastron; ran that baby alot thru the 70's and early 80's down along the Chesapeake Bay area and Chester river

Worked at Travis Boats and Motors, formally Bill Gaston boats. Austin economy reeled from the loss of the plant, I remember vestiges of it behind the dealership. :( .

We have a 1987 Glastron Lahya whit a Volvo penta still going strong !

I've owned one Glastron - a V-204 Gulfstream that originally came with a "Glastron 302" - in reality a Volvo Penta sterndrive powered by a Ford 302. I replaced that motor with a Ford 351W. Don't know why Glastron didn't offer that engine option - it's a pretty simple swap.
