Upset we didn't go out there this weekend we definitely missed out! The women wanted the Xmas lights up and leaves raked you know how that goes! You gave me motivation to do my 1/5 scale since I only drove it about 3 times after break in! Watching you do your x2 made me jealous. Ordered one of the rigid work stations can't beat the price man. I got all the parts to do it gonna strip her down n do it all up tune the diffs and shocks and add the 990 carb! Looks like a good time this day!

BOTAJELL just like the yfz450r I've done every bearings and bushings bolts chain rims a arms bumpers. Everything but the motor, I don't have the confidence yet but my brother helped me put new cylinder piston n rings on it he's a real gear head. We work for our fathers business industrial mill wrighte used to work in a progresso plant owned by general Mills now this year was bought out by a produce company. Lots of work and money to being made. From big to small I work on em all! Just hard finding the time to do it n keep family happy at same time and trying to squeeze racing in on weekend thankfully it's off season.

Your bad ass Losi truggy Hey my man I got a quick question for you I just went to go bash at the park and unfortunately I couldn’t because something happened with my truggy I got a Losi 8ight T On a starter box. It started up and then went. The blue fly wheel is Wiggley and loose. Any idea what I might have to replace? And what might’ve caused it?

Derek Matson you probably just need a new Collet and make sure you get the correct one for your flywheel then put a synthetic rope threw your exhaust port so you can lock your piston from moving so you can loctite and torque down your flywheel nut!

Tony Fulton the best 28-8 and 30 and 32 I ever used is the TNS Modified ones!!! If your asking about stock engines? There all ok but not the same at all. The 28-8 Novarossi is better quality but I also have had great luck with LRP Engines so I say just start out somewhere or do what I do and buy both lol ! They all give different types of feel and power . Just make sure there all sealed motors not that bullshit one way bearing bullshit meaning no pull starts and roto starts only Bump Box start! If you do get a LRP ? Make sure it’s the new X series engines

Cardiak on what brotha?? If your talking about my 4.0 TLR Truggy? It's the race set up from out of the box from the build. It still has the oil that comes with the race kit. I only changed out the Diff oils on all 3 Diffs. When it's time to rebuild or change out the oil on my Shocks someday , I will be using possibly 40 lbs Shock oil ? Or 35? Don't know yet.

Hi Botajell , great video as always ,I am having a bitch of a time with my savage the engine is being a right piece of shit and to be honest it always has been since break in ( I followed your break in method) it's almost impossible to start and when I sent it in to hpi they said nothing was wrong with it so I'm either going to take the engine apart and seal it myself or buy an lrp zr 28/30 and seal that straight out of the box ! What do you think I should do ?

Wierd that HPI thinks it's okay. Might be something at your end. Things to check- If your starter box running right direction, something slipping in the starter box. Got lowered engine mounts for the flywheel to sit low enough. Check your glow igniter is making that glow plug glow white hot. Don't give up bro. Hope it works out.

Cummins 18 hell yes I recommend the race kit TLR 4.0 Truggy . You must use a Modified 28-8 from TNS or RB MODs if you want anything like similar to mine ? Then get a Novarossi 41032 header and a 9886 pipe then you must use 4 Max-LiFe clutch shoes with 4 green clutch springs . Then do 100,000 diff oil on center diff and 50,000 front and rear
