Thanks bro I really appreciate that. More videos coming soon. I just upgraded my carburetor so it has a little more get up and the rovan 36CC is a Willy popper out of the box if you tune it just right. If you look in the 1st 3 seconds of the video I popped one but I backed out of it. I'll try to get a big crew together on a video.

Maybe I'll drive it today with the 990 so you guys can see the difference with the carburetor haven't quite tuned at all the way and I broke the wing but I put the old one back on. My only issue with the roven Is sometimes the motor wants to shut off no matter how you adjust the idle. The 36CC Burns a little more fuel but its worst it when you see it pop Willie You almost need headphones like at a gun range because that pipe is loud.

Total noob question here: Is there a CONSIDERABLE difference between 30.5cc and 36cc?

To me honestly no but if you want me to be completely honest the 36CC has more get out the whole power but the 30CC runs just as hard because it's on a buggy chassis which is super light. It doesn't really make a difference. They do about the same thing. Buy the metal gear kit from rovan 19 tooth i think.. it Should come with a new clutch bell for about $50 spray some WD40 on it and haul ass. The 30CC comes with some weak gears but thats about it. Make sure you get some knobby tires with the spikes because you will burn the factories in the break in and they don't give good traction on the dirt. 😊

The 30CC Setup requires Less carburetor tuning I don't know why but it just does. Anymore questions feel free to ask. These cars are super fun. Electric is OK but there is nothing like hearing a 2 stroke engine fly by

My losi 5t came with a 29cc on it and its almost twice the weight and its awd the hpi 5b comes with a 27cc motor stock and rovan puts 29 30 36 and 45 cc i think 29-30cc is perfect on a buggy everything else is over kill unless you want to pop wheelies just get you a tuned pipe some knobby cleat tires and you will have a blast dont drive cleats in street so get 2 sets of rear rims.

Also upgrad your pullstart to the easy pull start thats closed on roven site. The vents get trash in them all the time and the pull start won't engage. You will need a coat hanger to poke inside the The 2 levers through the vent on the pull start nets covers dont help. Happy bashing bro
