@@Mia11223 WayV is Cpop group promoting them more in Korea than in China is not good idea. Chinese market is more bigger than Korea. They have more chances to become rich and successful in China than Korea. Also China doesn’t use Google related services so it’s hard for people outside China to guess their success in their homeland.

@@AP-fi2di and you're absolutely correct. Infact, I would also prefer them to build a career in the Chinese market more because even the pay is wayyy more than k industry. But, what I said is still true. If wayv had been promoted more in Korean market, they would have had more wins. Because, although they classify as a cpop group, they are also k-pop. And it's nice to have more wins, and not be the only group under your company with no major wins....

Old groups wins are so much more valiable, thats because it was SUPER HARD to get them at that time, they had to be really really popular, country wise! I miss them so much, I miss the older gens.

there just 4 tv station that have music show back then, kbs, sbs, mbc, and mnet. also that there's no mass streaming like these day. the one winning music shows is basically a song that everyone know, not just a certain fandom of the winning group

SM may not be the best managament wise, but they definitely set the bars real high when it comes to qualities of idols, especially the vocals. I swear SM vocalists seem to have an extra pair of lungs the way they're belting out those high notes.

Don't forget Kpop's anthem *Sorry Sorry* that opened the doors for kpop internationally, it was the most popular K-pop song for years (even non-kpop fans knew it) , *Mr. Simple* as well ... Sorry Sorry charted better than Mirotic which was only known in Korea.. SORRY SORRY was a global phenomenon (in Korea and outside Korea)
