Another great video -- thank you!! I've done various installs over the years, and this never ceases to be a challenge. On a few rare occasions, I've found it to work a little easier starting from the passenger compartment and finding the probe on the engine side, but like I said -- rare occasions! I'm getting ready to do it again on a new vehicle after having my previous ride for over a decade and about 250K miles, and, as usual, I'm mildly dreading the process (and procrastinating). I'm waiting for cooler weather -- that's my story and I'm sticking to it! 73 de N8ESP

Thanks for stopping by! You said mildly dreading, lol. I know exactly what you mean. I though I'd approach these series while remembering one of my more easy installations, and get it done generally. Then, Dennis from DenCo batteries asks a question that reminds me of one of the hardest I've ever done. I don't think I can do a video that covers all bases. I went the totally easy way on my latest install. I understand your concerns. I think I did them a little out of order, and my next video will "try" to fix that. I'll mention your suggestion to try to start from the passenger compartment. Thanks for jumping in the conversation. See you out there. 73 de Bill

@@Bill-HRT You're right -- you can't possibly do a video that covers every situation! Too many permutations! You covered the things they all have in common and gave the appropriate safety precautions (which is always an excellent reminder). Keep up the good work -- I'll keep watching and looking forward to a future QSO with you! Cheers! John (N8ESP)

Thank you! I appreciate you coming by, watching, and stopping to comment. I appreciate the kind words. I found this subject, especially going through the firewall, hard to approach for video. I'm going to give it a try. See you out there. 73 de Bill

.45! Thanks for watching and thanks for jumping in with a comment. I always appreciate the support and the conversation. This time I went in via a pass through that was already there in the floor for letting water out, I guess; I guess I'm getting lazy, lol. I think it'll work. We'll see. See you out tere. 73 de Bill

One thing Ford did well was allow for vehicle access points and panel grounding. I attribute these to the number of police vehicles they sell. Every Ford truck I have had has had access points and good grounding.

Thanks for jumping in the conversation. I appreciate you watching and joining in. I never though about this, but it makes sense. I just know the more times I do this, the more I look for easier spots to pass wires in. Thanks for sharing this. See you out there. 73 de Bill

Hey. I got that after Huntsville Hamfest. Going over there from North Carolina had me pretty well convinced. The trip back made up my mind. The F-150 wasn't struggling or failing, per se, but it was working very, very hard on some of those steeper inclines. I just figured better to have more power and less work at maximum effort. A couple F-250s fell in my lap; one bit me, and the other I kept, lol. The first one, the sales person neglected to tell me it was diesel def deleted. I didn't want that because I didn't know the ins and outs of registration. He didn't want to give me my deposit back. A conversation with corporate inspired him to give me my money back. The second one is gas, and it's doing ok so far. Hit me up on discord. See you out there. 73 de Bill
