I really enjoyed this! Believe it or not this really honestly helped me see how I can learn it better!

*Sighs* I completely didn't understand what the y-accel meant...so I can trying to build my coasters using the force section values only. Watching what you did, I now see what I was doing wrong clear as day. Thank you!

Friction parameters should be set to .024 instead of .020. It matches NL2 much closer.

Instantaneous changes in force hurt (like Magnum XL200), but how about instantaneous changes in the change of force? Basically, are sharp angles in the force graph undesirable?
@funkypenguin Жыл бұрын
Sometimes, I avoid sharp angles in the roll graph
@ts4gv Жыл бұрын
@@funkypenguin That makes sense seeing as the roll graph is the only one of the three that corresponds directly with track position. Sharp angle in roll graph would be the rolling equivalent of the Magnum XL200 problem: an instant change in G forces. Not convinced that sharp angles in force graphs would matter though, seeing as there's no instant change in what the rider feels.

I got some dumb questions: -is it possible to import a nl2 coaster to fvd? -can you export coaster parts/segements to add them to a coaster in nl2?
@funkypenguin2 жыл бұрын
Yes for both, I haven’t yet tried importing a coaster from NL2 to FVD but I do know it IS possible

i know this is really late, but how did you exactly download fvd? because when i download it, the application has everything squished and heavily cropped, and i cant even make coasters. Thanks for reading if u do.
