Great video. You can use a heat tool to remove the foil and then it’s easy to remove the staples and the foil is intact.

It is tyvek. It is a strong mailing type envelope that doesn't tear. You can use a different strong material if you can't find it. I bought it online, ir if you get a mailer in the mail or post office you can use that.

Thank you for this tutorial. What is the different types of material you use for the large strip and the four small strips?
@PamVanEeJournalMaker5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for subbing. I subscribed to your channel. ❤ Do you mean the cardboard strips and the spine? If so, I just used cereal boxes cut to size for the 4 small strips. And, I bought chipboard for the spine, or you could use 2 thick cardboard pieces glued together. I hope that makes sense. 😃👍

Pam VanEe /Pam's Paper Place what beside cereal boxes would work? Wondering if card stock would work for the small pieces?

@@KeepingitRealwiththeMillers You could try that, you just want it to be sturdy. Any other packaging boxes would work, too.

Hi Pam, I noticed in the opening, using We Like Kindergarten, you kept the gold foil. In A Child’s Garden of Verses, you tore off the foil and reinforced those areas with a thin strip of chipboard. Did you not reinforce We Like Kindergarten in order to keep the gold trim exposed?
@PamVanEeJournalMaker5 жыл бұрын
Hi, Janet! I usually reinforce with strips and remove the foil.
