Joe removes the 63's interior as well as the nailhead engine, then separates the body from the original chassis. Finally we take a look at the Riviera's new Art Morrison chassis and the original chassis.

I have a 64 Riviera with the 425 nailhead. This one though is in much better shape. Cannot wait to watch the entire series.

The nailhead has features unique to other GM division engines that shows up in the LS engines. Nice old survivor.

X frames were stout, but they kinda forced those models into being 2+2, the drive train hump was huge...

Very unique pro touring build, but why does every or almost every GM pro touring build almost always get an LS&? Why not a bad ass 455 Buick engine. Those LS engines are the most homely looking things ever. They look like a box in the engine compartment.

In my opinion this Riveria is too nice and original to restomod - I agree that a 455 would be awesome with one mod being a 200-4R overdrive transmission
