What's the official name of the tool you referred to as "snips."? I don't think they are wire cutters but I can't think of the name of them.

@@susiehernandez6652 They could be called sheet metal cutters, aviation snips, lever cutters, or compound snips. But “tin snips” really is the most used name, so it appears your neighbor is unfamiliar with the tool. 🤷‍♂️
