I did lose 70 lbs and told them a year before I was losing weight and to order dress smaller. They didn’t, they totally had to restructure dress and top of dress is nothing like original. I started crying and the seamstress said it wasn’t in her wheelhouse to make it like original because I lost weight. Very disappointed.

As a Bridal stylist and bridal gown designer, I always found that not wearing a bra under your dress helps it to fit a lot better because of the bulk bras create.

I wish I saw this before I got my alterations done. The seamstress I used cut out tulle in my train without even asking. So bizarre

I wasn't trying to lose weight but because I was so nervous, I kept losing weight. Every time I went in for an alteration, the seamstress would get mad at me. I think I had alterations around 5 times. The last time I went, she said if I lost any more weight, it was going to be too bad! I was so nervous that I couldn't keep anything down. I would never have done a big wedding if it hadn't been for my mother!

Same, I'm getting married in 4 months and we went from a 20-30 guest to 70 guest and a bunch of different opinions about what we should do or what looks good ughh I love my friends and family but if it was up to my fiancé and I we would have gotten married already. I know I'm going to love my wedding but it has added unnecessary stress to the process.
