It randomly started working again after I hit the steering wheel a couple times 😂

I'm having an issue with my M4, I can hear a click sound come from the engine bay when I press the horn. It's easier to hear with the car off. I'm thinking the horn is blown. Checked the fuse and it looked fine

Mine has made that noise a few times, but it doesn’t anymore. The fuse location on mine was a dead end plug in, so it didn’t plug into anything. I’m assuming too that I need to replace the entire horn itself

@@AutomotiveTherapy I could hear a click coming from a relay near that fuse panel on the passenger floor also. I'm taking it into the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it.

@@AutomotiveTherapy Both high tone and low tone horns were bad. Had to get both replaced.

Ah gotcha. Was it expensive?

If the car clicks when nothing is rubbing for sure its the top hats! Do not grease anything! I literally had brian cells die from watching this.

The grease worked lol. I put some on the pinch bolt and removed the thin plate that sits in between the bolt and nut and 90% of the clicking went away

How did you fix the horn I got same problem

I actually fixed it a few days ago, I pressed the horn in different places on the steering wheel and started getting small beeps. After pressing it multiple times it started to work again, so strange 😂

Not even kidding I ended up punching the horn decently hard and it started working again 😂

Still not fixed :( I examined both horns and saw nothing wrong with them, I’m buying new horns soon and hoping that new ones will fix it

@@bernardliburd hey bro. bought some cheap replacements at autozone and worked like a charm. with the design in these cars once enough water gets in there they get shorted out overtime.

Since 2014 the Horn in the F Model dont have a fuse anymore

Nope! Still waiting on getting a whole new set of front suspension hardware to resolve the clicking noise, and I’m taking the car to get the horn replaced, unfortunately it was not the fuse that broke

It’s an annoying sound! I am still working on the video on how to fix it, I am trying a lot of different things so stay tuned for that one
