Ford 800 series still uses a cork sediment bowl gasket which should fit your tractor. Points should arc when testing with screw driver with ignition on. Looking forward to your rehab of this old tractor. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, you are correct. I ordered a new gasket so I could do a better job cleaning the original sediment bowl. I'm thinking I'll need to pull the distributor and rebuild it.

@@clashavenfarms6714 The distributor shaft and gear should be ok under neat. Now the distributor electrical elements are often the problem...

That engine has a power crater sticker on it, It has most likely been rebuilt with power crater pistons. Hope you get it started
