wheelhorsepartsandmore.com I was able to find a cylinder kit and new deck wheels for the 48" that are shot. The front hitch I use is from wheelhorsepartsandmore as well. That has held up great.

Awesome I'm sure I'll have to do this sooner or later so maybe I'll just order it soon and have it on hand. The couple things that I've done for leaks on my 520h are oil seals on the transaxle. I did both axles and then found that there was a leak around the brake drum as well as around the motion arm at the top. I did have one leak coming from the valve area but it was just a loose hydraulic hose. I definitely need to get wheel grease seals but I'm going to wait until I powder coat my rims to do that. Thanks for the video!

Good deal! Definitely better to get ahead of the leak than to blow a seal & make a huge mess. Thumb's up

I just reconditioned my lift cyllinder on a 269-H wheelhorse. I bought my entire kit piece by piece from Dayton Seals and Packings. Great customer support and less than $8.00 for everything. Believe me, that inner seal is a buggar to get in whithout tearingit.

Do you have a list of the part numbers you bought to recondition the 269 lift cylinder?

Hi, it seems you are able to do more work/replace parts on the Wheel Horse than on a John Deere of similar size. I've been thinking of going from my 318 to a 520H lately. Keep the tractor/gardening videos coming!
@CraigArndt3 жыл бұрын
I do like the 318 and having power steering would be a big plus and full hydraulics. The 520H is a little smaller but it does a lot of work. I just received the deck wheels today and the rebuildable cylinder kit so I'll have a video on the hydraulic cylinder this weekend. Thanks for checking it out.

Looks like you caught that pretty early on. Good thing you keep your stuff really clean or it could have been missed for a while.

I was hoping my 10 new bearings came in today for my bogies, then I saw this leak... it's always something. Trailer come in yet?
@Paisteboy4 жыл бұрын
@@CraigArndt No trailer yet. I talked to them on Friday and it hadn't arrived yet. They left a message with the manufacturer. Ken's isn't open until Tuesday so we'll see...

How do you bleed the air out of the transmission ?
@CraigArndt3 жыл бұрын
Best is to get a manual on it, or check our Redsquare on how to bleed. I think you need to pull the drive disconnect lever and then move the lever forward for a period of time and back for a period of time. I think having the hydraulic circuit for the lift, the air almost is removed for you since the pump is moving oil through the system constantly.

Rob is right, stuff just happens and then you get up to your elbows in whatever pulls you in. The kit came today, so I'll have an updated video this weekend. You guys have a good weekend.

I had my cylinder rebuilt by a reliable place, but it didn't last long. So i had to bite the bullet + buy a new one from Toro. Oh well.
