EMF Audio at a base 40hz test I have 1500 rms going into each one there’s a great tool called an multi meter and a rms meter 🤦🏼‍♂️ since music tends to move around the sound spectrum so does the wattage I measure out a 40 hz tone and set the gains accordingly that’s how I know what I’m getting and I’ve had it professionally checked by multiple company’s and people that know more than me I’ve had these for quite some time now and they aren’t even getting warm if I could dm you my setup I most definitely would I haven’t smelled mine before or anything so what you did in your video I’ll never know

I have a rockford fosgate p3 and now i receive the punisher yesterday and hits hard not full power because still braking it. Its on 2 ohm now on alpine mp500. So even they exaggerated on raiting im happy and it hit harder than p3.

U dont need to be full power to break in a sub. 3/4 will break it no problem. The box volume makes a difference also. This destroyer is better than many subs including the pricier p3.

Just saw a post on Facebook basshead group about how one sub is better then another because it had a bigger magnet and stiffer suspension. He was comparing a low budget American Bass sub to a Rockford Fosgate T2 13 inch sub . Sure American bass subs are alright but I doubt better than the T2 13 . EMF should do a Rockford T2 13 subwoofer test to see if it can handle rated specs . I doubt that Rockville can do 1000 RMS for 45 seconds without blowing the coil .

The American Bass however, I've reconed subs that people said they had rated power on them. I can't validate what they did or didn't have, but I've heard it alot.

The original Rockville was flea market tier stuff out of some Chinese buildhouse catalog. I hope nobody really expects this is going to be much different. Chinese have a saying "一分钱一分货" which is a rough equivalent to "you get what you pay for". You call the build house and tell them you want all the shit they promise for 50$, they'll put it all on a spec sheet for you and sell you something similar for 50$ but at the end of the day everyone should know corners are being cut somewhere to give you something that looks similar to what you asked for at the price they promised. By all accounts this isn't even considered dishonest when doing business in China but just part of the semantics of a business negotiation. My prediction going forward, EMF's 2.5" coil sub is going to beat this on the meter. 3" 4 layer aluminum coil will probably survive 1 minute test tone at 1400W but it will be getting very hot.

I asked why they were so bad and they said they warned them their specs were not accurate for what they were making and it would cost more money to make the specs accurate. They refused to spend more money to make it right against the better judgement of the build house. The build house was honest, Rockville knew what they were doing.

I'd love if they did, because our products dollar for dollar will make theirs look really stupid. Low power doesn't kill subwoofers, if that were the case every speaker would die every time you turned them on not at absolute full blast. Know how you get more or less volume? You adjust power levels. Nowhere in this video is there trash talking, it's showing real life comparisons and real life aspects. We get more customers by being honest and EDUCATING them, which is what we do.

Btw I did my first system when I was 17 now I'm in my 40's so I've seen the best and the worst subs blown on rated power and underrated as well so I'm definitely not new to the car audio world

Like I said, you missed the point because you went defensive on Rockville immediately, because butthurt. This is directly related to my business and consumer education. It has 2 parts to it which fully explain that specs aren't always accurate and a company that isn't trying to swindle you is honest about their products. People make purchase decisions based on specs, and when those specs are lies that means you aren't getting what you paid for. You were too focused on saying Rockville is great to realize they're being sued for what I demonstrated.

I really do get that trust me I have been telling people for year's about max and rms ratings on both amp and subs and how sometimes it's not what they say it is. I also said I don't have any interaction with their subs as well. A consumer is gonna buy what they want depending on their wallet anyways so if I made a thousand video's peoples wallets are what they are. As far as the lawsuits who cares it seems to be the thing to do these day's sue, sue, sue, you don't like it sue, It's enough money out here for everyone to eat if I have a brand of my own that's all I'm focusing on do tutorial's on my stuff so people will buy my stuff, no other company stuff is my business to use for anything other than when we see each other at a competition I'm trying to tear they heads off in a respectful way still
