Part 1 - SVG Cutting 101: From Start to Finish

Hi, I just found this video. I have the Happy Birthday bench pillow embroidery version and I have downloaded the SVG files to my computer but I can not find the demention information for the size of each file anywhere. Not on the package (of the CD) nor in the files. Where do I finde that info in order to see if my cutting software (I'm am using the SCAL5 software) imports the files at the right size?

SVG designs cut a smidgen small for the sew outs. Do we always need to enlarge them a hair?
