This ending and Y/n are so pathetic! After everything Jungkook did to her he just said "Sorry" and you make Y/n forgive everything right away. Sorry but I hate this ending. In my opinion it would be much better if Y/n divorced Jungkook, moved on from him and ended up with Jimin. He cared more about her even when he didn't know anything about her.

HI there, :) SO...I sometimes leave my impression of a storyline to the writer. I'm not one to complain or compliment for the sake of it and if something bothers me, I like to always consider the 'why' and before I open my mouth, I've considered some possible constructive solutions. I am a writer myself and know it can be nice to hear an unbiased opinion so, I hope you don't mind. Let me say upfront, that I realize you may have already considered these things and intend to address them in a bonus later.... if so ... (Whoops but at least you know your readers ARE watching your work through to the end and you get an idea what is going on in their heads when they are reading it. :) There are a few things I consider when I read a piece. 1. Did the writer accomplish what they set out to do? 2. Was it clear so the readers could catch it either from a literal POV or figuratively? 3. Was the story captivating all the way to the end...and if not - why. 4. Did the story provide an opportunity for the reader to walk away with a life lesson learned - was it a good one? A piece doesn't need to end happily to have attained a good life lesson or leave breadcrumbs of ponderance hours...days later. So, #1 - did your story accomplish what you set out to have us read? - Well, it was true to the title for sure, so if this was all you wished, then you were successful, but I felt you wanted your readers to see far past the title as you added some thought-provoking elements to the story. What I liked. I liked there wasn't 'the other woman' to contend with in the story. They had enough drama going on that a third party would have taken away from their conflicts - and might of with many been THE deal breaker for your readers if he'd actually strayed in some way. I liked that Yn had a silent Allie in Taehyun, and his interaction with JK at the office provided just the right element of foreshadowing toward what would later come, but I felt you didn't give Yn her proper validation once that day actually came. (What do I mean...?) The bedroom scene was THE inciting incident. (IMHO) I felt many questions were left unanswered. Wounds that were opened were left unhealed - giving me the feeling the fresh scabs on top could be scratched off effortlessly in the future if the source of the problem wasn't fully recognized, This would require an intent to put it to rest by a true hashing out of the conflict, or at least a showing of an attempt to do so. (Because any person in an abusive relationship will be the first to tell you the abuser will always apologize after the fact, ask for forgiveness, and act like life is all wine and roses - until the next time. As JK he especially experiences anger issues - this is big time important if we are to feel a true empathy for JK that would have us feeling a sincere HEA was in their future.) Now you might feel I'm overthinking this point, but it will be sitting in the minds of many of your readers with how this story breezes past this point. Yn's naive rationalization for her easy acceptance to forgive him without thinking through the impact of his actions would be concerning, as it opens the door for her to be a victim in the future. With her being mute, I feel it's more important than ever that she is given a way to find her voice and stand up for herself so she can earn true respect from him - and herself. JK was verbally, mentally, and physically abusive to YN, and she was at a huge disadvantage with him, being that she was unable to clearly communicate with him unless it was on his terms. He took advantage of her disability in a very harsh and distasteful way in their bedroom fight when he refused to take her seriously and coldly stated he had no intention of reading her attempt at communicating her very personal feelings. Even if he'd pulled a comparable act on a speaking person - the rebellious refusal to allow his partner to communicate is a big - big red flag. (I would have SO liked that to have been explored, so she actually got her time to shine after the fact, by being allowed to express how he'd made her feel, and what he'd broken in their relationship by his actions and what she expected from him before she felt he'd re-earned her trust. I didn't feel the reader found much satisfaction in this area. He proved he could use that against her at his whim, and sure he said sorry, but he's left scars she and most any woman wouldn't let go lightly. He threatened her with his belt and was very forceful, and verbally demeaning to her. He used fear as his sword! Love is indeed a powerful emotion, but self-preservation is by far more important, as is reclaiming lost self-respect. (Not about pride... but respect) I know you tried to justify the reasons why Yn surrendered and forgave him so easily - while I am no advocate for the vengeful wife scenario, I AM all for the POV that respect and trust are earned, and if they are violated - they are not so easily earned back. In this point, I feel your story didn't provide YN the voice she deserved (which is the voice of every person who's experienced an abusive encounter) - especially since she so strongly needs one in this piece. *You did this to me, and this is how it made me feel.* It was great she met Jimin in the park, but you clearly drew a line between his interaction with her and Jungkook. Jimin was a point for venting, but not for regaining validation in her relationship with JK. I sort of felt his part in this piece, weak and yet strong at the same time. His dedicated intent to make her smile and laugh - is beautiful and reveals a true empathetic heart within Jimin. The scene is left very vague as to how much she might have actually valued that interaction by how she explains him to JK, and also how she left things with him before they parted in the park. A bit like a one-night stand in a sense. LOL. Annnnd there is this anger management issue (back there again...) JK is struggling with throughout the story. When he is faced with dealing with anything that might be related to his parents - we see this is toxcidity, Leaving the feeling that it's not just good enough he admits why he became angry at her for months and months. We need to see HIM find some peace, and validation so we feel his making the effort to desire to move past it. (Or it comes back up to what I mentioned above how it will come around again in the future.) I'd have liked to have seen some proof that JK wasn't just 'sorry,' but was willing to prove his commitment to her, by putting himself out to accommodate her. - It's in his court to show a desire to learn sign language, and that would have been nice to see that addressed somehow in the story - especially since her being mute played such a large role in the story. - There are such things as 'tests of trust' something humans do naturally. intentionally or not - we do it all the time when we meet new people or get hurt by someone. You showed this with Yn's interaction with Jimin when she struggled with her decision to trust and open up to him, and we understood her justifications for making that leap of faith that he was a good person. Yet JK was given no such tests of trust after what he did, and an 'I'm sorry, I won't hurt you anymore,' wouldn't be enough for most women to be able to forget the harsh aggression he threw at her feet...literally. That is something I would have loved to see explored more significantly in this story to feel we had a well-rounded character experience. This is especially imperative, because being deaf, she's (figuratively speaking) faced many challenges in her life and even if she has a gentle nature, there will be a hidden wall of steel inside her that must be there to have allowed her to get by without being torn apart by our indifferent...insensitive society. In the final scene, the struggle with Yn not willingly going to the bedroom with JK was realistic considering their past and provided an opportunity for some redemption on his part, but here, you took the power away from Yn by allowing him to let his will override hers. This could have been a very good segway to 'open the conversation' or for her to make a point of setting boundaries that she'd use moving forward in the relationship on HER terms until he re-earned her trust. So after a lengthy commentary, we come to my #4 of my list...which I feel is the most important. In this story, it was a yes and a no. To me this story was about - (disability - abuse - - betrayed love - and new beginnings but should also be about healing and personal growth for the two protagonists both independently, and together as a unit. *** Sometimes it comes down to considering 'what would I do in this situation' and then 'why I'd do it'.... and then to look around you at a few other personalities (resources of inspiration) around you (friends, family members... someone with a similar temperament as the character you're writing about.) See what THEY would do in that situation - and why - and if you like the justification for their decisions... Then look at your characters' journey once more to see if you've fully fleshed out the scene and connected with their circumstance and personality to the full potential of the script. Okay... This might seem like I didn't like your piece, but FAR from it. If I took the time to write such a large commentary - I felt your work deserved the time and effort to express my thoughts to a talented writer. This story has so much going for it and I'd have loved to have seen how you'd have woven these other elements into the fabric of your story. I am sure they would have been very powerful and enhanced an already good story. okay.... I'm done now.... lol. honestly im not talking about the whole plot but the particular time were Jungkook had a meeting and ask her to leave, i could've lost my mind if i was in his place, and lets not talk about how she even spill the coffee on his work, i would've throw her out of the house then later think about right and wrong, my God that scene just pissed me off. and all pf this for what a closer which she can get in evening? i know i might sounds a bad person but i could've been so harsh with my words with her if i was in his position. im mentally sick i know.

@@sushmitasaha2948 he was literally angry at her every second, not just when he asked her to leave or when she accidentally spilled the coffee. But taking off his belt to try and beat her with it. No matter what she did he was always angry at her. She only just wanted to know if they should practically divorce because both of them are not happy with it. She didn’t want to leave because she wanted an answer, she was miserable and basically depressed even though she loved him. You wouldn’t actually do that, well think you would because of all the if I was in his place. I hope you’re future partner is like him, gets mad at you every single time even if you’re not doing nothing wrong, will try to beat you with a belt, and I most definitely hope when you get tired of it and ask if want to divorce oh my goodness I hope they will actually beat you when you don’t leave 😁
