Hello all! My name is Matthew; I’m the guy in the video with Dr. Sabeel. I firstly want to publicly commend Dr. Sabeel for his generosity and amicability in this discussion (as well as the discussion we had the next day). His kindness for those with whom he agrees and disagrees is as far reaching as his intellect, in my experience. Now secondly, I’d like to clarify that my goal was to learn from Dr. Sabeel about Islam, and specifically about the Islamic doctrine of Allah. As such, I was not attempting to debate or formally counter his points, I was simply there to learn from him, as he is evidently a learned and very intelligent man. Do not view this conversation as a debate between a Muslim and a Christian, but rather as a mature Muslim educating a young Christian on the core beliefs of Islam. For Quran to be authentic word of Allah, did jibreel HEAR Allah recite Quran revelation in Arabic, so as then accurately recite to moahmmed? Either yes / no will expose Allah and Islam for Jibreel to accurately HEAR Allah recite quran in arabic , Allah would need to LIMIT his voice to a tone and frequency compatible with the created finite created realm of jibreel and speak in an EARTHLY MANMADE created arabic language, for jibreel to accurately hear Allah recite quran , so as to then accurately recite to Mohamed. which makes Quran wrong as allah is now in the created realm.

Beautiful way of Dr Sabeel explaining things. I do agree tha Matthew is holding back trying to defend for beliefs. The bottom line is what to consider what biblical scholars have said and the Dr is drawing it from that knowledge and he's being very objective and reasonable. We understand you Matthew and we can say may Allah guide you and your wife to Islam, I really liked your demeanor respect towards the conversation, Wallahi all the points Dr Saberlo mentioned in both conversations are all valid and I advise you to watch again with your wife and reconsider many things. Why would you want to throw your afterlife away on a false belief, unknown authors, associating partners, equals por rivals to the One true God work is worship when He has always said that He is one, alone and that we should worship Him alone. This is what Islam teaches and I believe Dr Sabeel emphasized that point as well through the mention of all the Prophets including the prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Heres the thing as a believer we should all acknowledge the credibility of who's claiming things..if it is said by the prophet we can agree that it is most certain from God and we should follow the prophet.... On the other hand someone claiming about a vision and just because they attribute it to Jesus doesn't mean we should believe it ..not unless if that vision came from a prophet which is the messenger appointed by God.
