I Have lived this way my whole life. And once it there its hard to get ride of it. I came into the church when I was 11. But my dad made me go to school at a catholic school for kindergarten and 1st grade. I have often wondered where did I pick this up. My dad was a stickler for following rules he was in Navy. And he use to beat my mom and me and my sister if we done wrong. Probably picked it up from that too. Once I went to catholic school and they told me to take communion. I tried to tell them i had not had all of my trainning yet. But the nun pushed me up front. I took it but held it in my mouth and would not swallow it. As soon as I got out side I spit all of the communion bread out. Then i told my mom about it how I didnt disobey. Its sad to be this way in my own life. Im 66 nowits been a long time but I still remember. Dear God how do you get rid of this. Its a curse to me. I hate it more and more. It effects me more everyday. Please help Ty!

He got half of the phrase that I use to explain the difference to people about relationship vs religion. Religion is doing what's right to "get in good with God" but in a relationship I do what is right because I am ALREADY "in good with God". I obey Him - not in order to be accepted - but because I AM accepted already.

When we love truly love God we will love more than our own. John 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” Acts 10:34-35 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” John 13:35 “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” 1 John 4:20-21 “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.”

TOTALLY REFRESHING!ITS ALWAYS THERE WITHOUT LEGALISIUM YET OVER & OVER IT HAS SEEMED TO OF HAD SUCH AN A STRO G INFLUENCE. Once reading a book years ago and took it With great emotion Threw it out!!!
