I still maintain that if Adam would’ve trusted God, that Jesus would’ve died, for just Eve. Taken from: The Story of Redemption ⤵️ Instead, she felt better than before. Eve urged Adam to eat the fruit she had brought. Adam knew his wife had disobeyed God. God had given them just one test of their love for Him, and Eve had failed that test. Eve told Adam that the snake had said they would not die. She believed the snake's words were true, because she had not died. In fact, she thought she felt as wonderful as the angels must feel. Adam was sorry that Eve had wandered away from him while working. But now it was too late to change. Eve already had eaten the fruit. He would have to be separated from his dear wife whom he loved to be with. He could not stand the thought. Completely discouraged, Adam decided to eat the fruit. If Eve would die, he would die with her. Adam did not have faith in his merciful and loving Creator. God had made Adam out of the dust into a living, handsome person. God had given him a beautiful wife. But Adam did not think that God could give him another woman that he would love as much as Eve. Taken from Christ’s Object Lessons chapter 15⤵️ In the parable the shepherd goes out to search for one sheep-the very least that can be numbered. So if there had been but one lost soul, Christ would have died for that one. The sheep that has strayed from the fold is the most helpless of all creatures. It must be sought for by the shepherd, for it cannot find its way back. So with the soul that has wandered away from God; he is as helpless as the lost sheep, and unless divine love had come to his rescue he could never find his way to God.

Yes! TRUTH IS ALWAYS BEST. But the way we tell somebody the truth can make the difference. The Holy Word is meant to be more blatant, frank, and to the point. 👍🏼Thank You, Lord Jesus & Thanks, Ty 💙 “See everybody through the eyes of Calvary’s sacrifice” That’s beautiful 😍 I listened to “get the hell out of here” by Ty, And now this one, this morning. I heard these years ago. Amazing how i need to hear them again. 🥹 Apparently, my Lord Jesus is trying to speak to me over again on these crucial matters. The biggest challenge is actually living up to the fact that Jesus is with me wherever I go; believing what He has promised “I will not leave you, nor forsake you” no matter what other people think of me, or what they treat me like. 👍🏼 If I call Jesus, my best friend, then I need to start treating Him more like He is my best friend, in every instance. He is not an absentee ghostly friend!! “Walk by faith, not by sight” Mary Sue. 🙂

Hi Ty and David I totally agree with your point that “going back” to circumcision is a form of paganism. Could the same be said for the other Jewish rituals, ceremonies and holiday festivals? For example, if I confess faith in Christ but decide to uphold and celebrate Jewish festivals like Yom Kippur etc, does my participation invalidate and negate what Christ has done for me? I guess what I’m asking is would Paul be just as offended if instead of circumcision I upheld Passover…or some other festival that pointed to Christ 🤔

convoluted nonsense....god is a tyrant we can never find...the bible is so full of holes...you're just plastering a disaster of lies! You lie, and are just an agent of chaos....the bible is a hodge podge of the paganism it demonises..and then some "promise" about the "death of evil" .and who wants to live with this type of despot..."eternal plan"...hahahaha...for neverending entertaining torture of a despot....god is so evil it can't even allow me to leave this prison....the other slaves just endlessly lecture me about "staying" because of what "meaning"...you have all lost your minds!

The Lord Jesus Christ had no problem with the people of the world as far as I understand. He came to seek and to save the lost. It was the church folks, the Pharisees and Sadducees and elders etc. of His church that made His life and mission hard. I hope we are not repeating the same thing. On the other hand, I wish I could comfort myself in knowing that by our missionary endeavors and the work of the Holy Spirit, the whole world, as we are experiencing it, will be saved.

Neighbor and brother are two different concepts. The Pharisee did not ask who is my brother, he asked who is my neighbor. Love your neighbor as yourself, yes. However, John is talking about other believers. If you claim to have met God, you are going to love other people who have experienced the same God, and are trying to be like him as well

Why do you believe people like Augustine cannot fear God and love Him? If I may be blunt-you do not understand why the Saints have this view. God IS love but God is also far more than just love. I'm writing this because we know teachers will be judged more harshly on what they teach. And many will be impacted by what you teach. It is crazy that you're using atheists Dawkins, Hitchens and Jefferson to persuade Christians to only speak about things that would attract atheists to God. One who truly knows God will never do that. We will always speak the truth about God, and you've misrepresented that Christians do this out of fear. God's Holiness and justice is not attributing 'ugliness' to God. You did not even mention God’s Holiness at all in this. I don't follow Christ out of fear even when there is an eternal hell. I am made to be with God and I joyously am a servant. There were times I've prayed that even if i were to go to hell, as long as God is glorified that is what God deserves. I deserve to be in hell for wronging a Holy God. Look at the trillions of galaxies God has created. What is man that God is mindful of us at all? Do we truly know the extent of our sin? Yet Jesus, "who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:6-11) That love is amazing. Despite our rebellion against God, God loved us so much He was willing to die in our place to reconcile us. --- I fear God and love God. This fear is not an ugly thing as you say. I believe the reason our generation does not understand this is because we've lost the foundation of reverence and the fear of the Lord. We only want to talk about love and not Holiness. Only when I truly sought to understand Holiness is when I finally began to KNOW God's love.

I Have lived this way my whole life. And once it there its hard to get ride of it. I came into the church when I was 11. But my dad made me go to school at a catholic school for kindergarten and 1st grade. I have often wondered where did I pick this up. My dad was a stickler for following rules he was in Navy. And he use to beat my mom and me and my sister if we done wrong. Probably picked it up from that too. Once I went to catholic school and they told me to take communion. I tried to tell them i had not had all of my trainning yet. But the nun pushed me up front. I took it but held it in my mouth and would not swallow it. As soon as I got out side I spit all of the communion bread out. Then i told my mom about it how I didnt disobey. Its sad to be this way in my own life. Im 66 nowits been a long time but I still remember. Dear God how do you get rid of this. Its a curse to me. I hate it more and more. It effects me more everyday. Please help Ty!

Thank you for explaining this so well. I have thought of this so many times but had not the words to express it out right. Or to even know if I was right in my thinking. I question all of my thoughts and motives. In the past for me these things has happened to me that you spoke about. But I feel God leading me to find answers I've needed a long time ago. I Praise God for this.

I really needed this message. Im happy to see that a pastor in out SDA Church would preach on this subject. I have a question..i know you were talking about the bigs offenses in our lives..does this apply to not so big offenses but that hurt us deeply? What if they never say they’re sorry for something that broke your heart emotionally. Ive forgiven but is it ok to put them aside to prevent the hurt repeating itself. Is it ok to still love that person but need the space to heal from the hurt?
