That's the beauty of this type of construction. You can basically create your own "cabin kit" in your shop, at your leisure, and protected from the elements. Then, transport it to a remote location and raise the frame in a day.

I’m about to venture into a timber framed pergola that is the same dimension as your cabin with a lot of the same joinery….I’m binge watching your build and it’s been very informative. Are you planning on having plans available to sell?……I like the Maloof rocker too…..I have one that is half built and I let it sit for a year….I’m afraid to start the carving….😃
