I think that religion is a good thing because it teaches us not to be too selfish and also to try to help people that we don't know and to try to forgive people and so on, in that way it actually makes us smarter as individuals. We might not always know why it is better to do these things but I believe that it is the best way not for others but for ourselves. I think there is a lot of selfish thinking going on in the world today, I think that many people believe that if they put themselves first more than the next man then they will win, they believe that the reason for someones success is because he was more selfish and put himself first more than anyone else and that is why that person won. He was the most "savage" so to speak but that way of thinking is simply not true.
