You are very inspiring!! I am finally going to begin my quilt. I will be spending the entire summer I. Yellowstone national park living in my campervan and working in their non profit store. So all I am taking with me is handwork. Regular embroidery, slow stitching, some collage quilt blocks I want to work on possibly ( may not take those cue to their size ). And some cross stitch. So I need to order some of Rachael’s materials before I go. Plus, it will be a new region of the country to visit and find great thrifts and antique fabrics and linens on my days off work. Plus there are tons of needlework shops. And Native American the needle work shops as well. So really looking forward to it. And since I am behind on a number of projects it will be a great opportunity.

Imagine creating a fabric book/piece dedicated to the vintage French/Italian Ladies' fabric using the images that you have and other snippets added in :)

Nicely done, Corrine! Love the outcome. I’m sewing along with you, Japanese Boro style lap quilt. You’re right, doing the lap quilt in winter is good, it keeps me warm when stitching. Happy New Year to you and yours and to your fur babies! 🌸tess

Aww another rectangle for me just because. Wow ok um looks great, I was helping and good news you definitely got my hints, lol. I will need to do two blocks due to crazy December still a nice afternoon ahead for me. I have cheated a little um do a monthly swap of sewing here and as it was my turn I’ve asked for appliqué birds I can place on my quilt still very excited about receiving these should be fun, I figured I will place these around the bird houses as I make these rectangles will add a little pazzie to my piece. Throughly enjoying this project. Must get on its finish house work then get in and mess up with fabrics lol I am a little like you I place and re cut as I go. Have a fabulous idea for a birdhouse this month wonder if I can sew this, I know I can draw it it’s the sewing and cutting that is the challenge. Loads of fun trying.

I really had a bit of a chuckle watching this one as I had gone through the same with a panel 2 days ago. Some of them come together so easily but my last one took well over an hour to lay out! I think it gets a bit trickier with each one as there is that added need to balance with all the previous panels. But I am loving the challenge and it really feels like playtime.

He had it this morning at 7:30. Apparently he had passed the stone so so he checked out the whole area and it looked good! No Stent needed! He can resume activities tomorrow including driving. He was home by 10.
