The retreats getting closer. Will be great to meet you. I worked in Nursing Homes for a lot of years. But when mum and dads time came to go in And even though I worked there prior. It was still challenging. Now it’s Peters mums turn and she’s just turned 100 and has the start of dementia and also 2 and a half hrs away. So we have challenges again. But we will get there ❤

Forgive me Corrine, I made the decision to pause your video so that I could hop over to Netflix. What a lovely movie! I had never heard about this group of women, though I’m very interested in WW2, so much so that I have a (huge) website, mostly about ships and convoys, the majority Norwegian ships, but also other nationalities. I’ll finish your video now, you won’t get rid of me that easily.

Oh man - how I love this! As I indicated the other day, I’m 76 years old, and learned embroidery etc etc etc from my grandmother when I was a little girl (starting when I was about 5), but I have never seen anything like this, until I “met” you - just fascinating to watch how it all comes together!

This question is way off the subject but what type of glue did you use on the project(s) where you glued fabric onto the tin/metal boxes? Thanks so much😊

I love your Beachy journal especially. Your work is always gorgeous but this one calls out to me with my love of the water! Appreciate your recommendations. I waa post surgery & bedbound all summer. Here's my partial list! LOL I'm partial to historical/fiction but love anything if it's well done! Just watched a great old one on Netflix " Feast of the 7 Fishes". Holiday, laugh out loud but light tears too, just a great movie. Some other good ones (some are more violent than I like but are great despite it): the Grey Man ( terrific music too), Heart of Stone, You, A Simple Favor, the Diplomat, Outlander ( read books first- so good!), the Night Agent, Age of Adeline. Fool Me Once, Inventing Anna, and just finished long series the Vikings! From Scratch, the Book Club, the Weekend Away, Unfrosted, and a dear favorite fantasy is the Sandman! A whole other genre are the holiday titles! Next time maybe! PS Fudge is just beautiful. I enjoyed seeing him! I love his conversations with you.

It’s great you’re using Aussie flowers. I’m always looking for these images to use. Unfortunately, quite often they are not botanically correct. Proteas and leucodendrons, which you’ve got there, are South African plants. I think what you thought was eremophylla flowers are actually Hakea nuts. Great job as usual. Love your work and style.

I'm loving this field notes book, your work is beautiful, if you want a good movie I recommend, "Killers of the flower moon", I believe it's based on true accounts, it is so sad what people will do for money, especially, how they do this to the Osage Indians, it a good long 3 hour long, plus movie, worth the watch

Oh I just love how these last pages turned out, especially the last one with the proteas. I love those! So with your encouragement and and direction I've already prioritized my projects and decided that the slow stitch ones will only be done when I'm watching stitching videos and alternating with the field notes journal and the spring stitch the seasons. All of the season ones are collaged with the exception of Winter so starting with spring will just allow me to continue through the year with those. The thread painting videos you make will help me with the seasons stitching so I'm once again very optimistic!

I really had a bit of a chuckle watching this one as I had gone through the same with a panel 2 days ago. Some of them come together so easily but my last one took well over an hour to lay out! I think it gets a bit trickier with each one as there is that added need to balance with all the previous panels. But I am loving the challenge and it really feels like playtime.
