Love the teal (?) green you've used for your wagon wheel flowers... adds a depth to the piece & introduces green into the colour scheme I'm sure that's why the green braid works so well An awesome piece 😃

Oh those green bead leaves are going to set this piece off wonderfully. I am anxious to do those roses, but I'm in the process of doing the basics before I can begin the ribbon embroidery. I constantly have to back myself up cause I get ahead of myself also.

Looking really great, love the colour combo. I have tried some ribbon embroidery but I must be doing something wrong. Maybe the needle is too small as I end up ripping the fabric. Maybe the weave is too tight. I don’t know. 🤔 Take care and look forward to the next part. 🧵

Oh that’s me too. You might need to put a backing on that particular material hon to give it some kind of foundation so it doesn’t tear?

Try a crewel needle.. larger eye for the ribbon and a larger hole for the ribbon to slip through! Keep playing!

Hahahahaha Reginald!!! We all have a Reginald hey. I think I need to call mine Richard Cranium and we all know what that means in Aussie slang. 😂😂😂. SORRY TO ALL THE BEAUTIFUL RICHARDS OUT THERE! I really Love you all!! I do know a couple of Richards and they are very sweet but not this needle!!!
