Reminds me of a trip I did nearly fifty years ago, to west Wales. The bikes were my Triumph 500, a BSA Starfire and BSA Bantam (I think!). I still have the old WW2 Army tent I bought for the trip (£6.00), I had to cut the tent poles in half in order to carry them. We tended to use racks, panniers and tank bags rather then haversacks. Glad you enjoyed it. I still have an old Triumph but use a Herald 250 as my wife won't let me buy anything bigger!

Just got myself a hoodlum125 and it’s such a fun little bike. I used to go shell island with my step dad as a kid, loved the place, him not so much 😅. It was great to watch your adventure through wales, I may do the same next year.
@chickenchaser32132 жыл бұрын
Doing trips like this on a 125 is a battle everything’s against you, suspension bottoming out due to the weight, wind trying to take you into the green stuff, speed or lack of it lol BUT it makes the whole experience more rewarding and adds an extra element to it that makes it special and an accomplishment, I love the big bikes but the 125 has captured my heart.

Overtakes on 125's. That's commitment hahaha So beautiful there, as always thank you for taking us along. I am amazed at how narrow the roads (lanes) are there.
