Hi Janet... Congratulation!! sorry for the ordeal but glad all went well. Am a doctor and Cholelithiasis and cholezystektomie is quite common. Actually the risk factors are the 6F : female, forty(age), fertile, fat, fair( white) . The more the points the higher the risk. Lifestlyle is also a factor.

You are phenomenal woman. May you and your household be in good health always.😘😘💕😇 My baby was born with choledochal cyst and this was discovered when we had our 5 months ultrasound during pregnancy. I was in hurt broken coz i was scared of what was to come. Luckly we had a normal delivery and at 8 months she had surgery but not without problems. God being God everything worked for good and for his glory and she is in perfect health and i thank God for that. Now she is 22 months and a half. Thank you Janet for sharing your experience. As women we have to trust our instincts. I was dismissed alot during my first pregnancy just because they couldn't find what was wrong with me. Went into preterm labour at 7 weeks but they managed to stop the contractions and at 38 weeks I had the baby only to loose her after two weeks. Second pregnancy same issue but this time thank God I had a good doctor. Turns out I have an irrittable uterus. It was a very difficult pregnancy, they had to sew my cervix shut to keep the baby from coming out( MacDonald stitch) and I was in bed the whole time on a concoction of meds when she came at 35 weeks. We thank God she's almost three now and very healthy. People would have me believe it was all in my head. Even doctors.

@HuusHome
@HuusHome 5 жыл бұрын
@@OfficialJanetMbugua when you find out you are pregnant, you are assigned a midwife who works alongside with your doctor. After you give birth, if it's the first baby, you stay at a birth hotel together with your partner, where you are under constant observation for about three days. At this time they test both the mom and the child to see that everything is going on well including breastfeeding and heel test. On the fourth day you take your baby home and at around 5th day, you get a home nurse who visits to check up on how you are doing including for baby blues and post partum complications. This nurse is also responsible for putting you in a mother's group with moms who have babies of the same age. These groups help a lot. In cases like yours, you get more visits from this nurse. She is like your family for the first two years of the child. In cases of the second child, which I am expecting now and learning more about, you are discharged about 6 hours after birth. After this you get a midwife visit the first 24 hours. 3 days later you get a nurse to check on you. 7 days later, you get your home nurse and the rest of the process is like the first child. All this is for free, well from the taxes we pay 😜. Yes I am based in Denmark. We have tried to come up with a similar support system in Kenya with some of my friends but..... 🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️🤷🏿‍♀️.

I got a laparoscopic cholecystectomy last year on 14th of Dec at AKU after being misdiagnosed at Nairobi Hospital for a whole year! Every time I got the pain attacks...(wah!) I was rushed to Nairobi Hospital and they would hook me up to ECG machines coz the pain was always on the chest area, and in my right shoulder blade.. and they always thought I was having a heart issue...FOR A WHOLE DAMN YEAR! Until my sister advised that I go to Aga Khan one day when I had a pain attack...thats when I was diagnosed after a thorough and intense scrutiny. By then my gallbladder was useless coz the bile duct had been blocked for long and the bladder was infected. So..yeah, they got the organ out, and I have been okay ever since😊. I feel you.

Hi Janet,you are a strong woman and thank you for sharing your story,i would say avoid too much spice food,cold daily products and food high in fat ,drink lot of water and i think this is a topic should be taught at school as well , i realized we Kenyan we don't love drinking water to avoid visiting washrooms ,especially public that you need money to 5 or 10 ksh to use ,but here in Dubai water is a life style lazima maji ,and washroom anywhere you go is free ,Take care.

For sharing that story, you have really inspired someone out here. Moms really need some rest, they are super amazing and work hard just to see the baby all good. God bless your little prince, you and your family as well. Mad love and respect Mama Mali and Huru. Can't wait for the next Vlog to see that basket (I guess called Moses basket or smth), looks so beautiful.
