Traditionally judges will order a one year separation period and some counciling in my state. If adulatory is committed and can be proven during that one year period or during the marriage it is at the SOLE discretion of the judge as to what the monetary split will be. Now judges don’t just punish people for having a bf during separation. But often I’ve seen them award nothing if they can prove their partner was out clubbing and getting ran through.
