They want the best of what we are, but while they’re stealing it, they give no RESPECT ✊🏽 to black ppl, no support to our struggle. Read the twitter posts of some of these girls. They say the most VILE things about black women, then say they’re gonna get them a black man! And they do. All the while, tricking these simple black men into thinking they’re biracial. 🤦🏽♀️. Some of these brothas don’t even care that they are gentrifying our identity. They look good, that’s all that matters. Meanwhile, real black women are being rejected for being too black or not pretty enough, etc. I’m disgusted.

Jeanie...no girl. Just no. Patrick shows himself as him. He uses a body/face as a canvas to illustrate art. He breaks down beauty from the normal male/female classification. This is exactly why Tamar used to give Jeanine the side eye. She has warped views when it comes to Black culture and racism. She has a stereotype of Black men being thugs because that is who she dated and she consistently makes excuses for racism because she just doesn't get it. There is a lot of racism towards Black ppl from Asians and as Maya Angelou said , "Racism is insidious" it shapes how you think, so even when you try not to be racist, growing up in an environment that perpetuates racist ideas will impact you. No but I personally have always felt that it was an over dramatization of women which doesn't appropriately represent women. So, in my opinion it's similar. I don't have an issue with it, and thus, I don't have an issue with her. If people can have an operation because they are no longer comfortable being their gender, this kind of stuff will happen as well. Because they're are A LOT of people who hate their skin color. And it is possible to not like your skin and still be on with your race.

This IG model is making herself look at least racially ambiguous as this is what the IG “models” of the day look like now. Curly hair, caramel complexion, big lips. She’s profiting off of a “look”/ that isn’t primarily associated with her ethnicity. And if what ppl in the comments are saying regarding her being featured on black pages and not correcting them is true then she is being deceptive as well.

Nancy I would really like your opinion on my question, I hope you could give me some insight: "For too long the beauty standard have been white; blond; blue eyes. Finally beauty standards have been diversified. Black-fishing aside - cause I agree that taking opportunities away from minorities through deception is never unacceptable. The perception I have been given by social media, is that white girls may not alter their appearances to incorporate other ethnic looks. Eg. Braids or curling there hair. Thus my question - If we are all for diverse beauty standards and celebrating each others beauty, why is not acceptable for the white girls to alter their appearances? Why not be more inclusive? How I view equality is exactly that, being inclusive, inclusive in every area, even beauty. Please help me understand."

@@MissPaparazzi88 thank you for trying to help me understand. Now I have more questions. 1. "MY HAIR IS A WHOLE PROJECT. I WISH I COULD WASH IT AND JUST LET IT AIR DRY. NO OTHER RACE STRUGGLES WITH HAIR LIKE BLACK PPL" - I respect the hell out of you for dealing with this daily. My sister has frizzy hair and just knowing how much she struggles, I can't imagine the amount of effort that you must have to put in. All of a sudden I am little less inclined to moan about those few stray hairs.... I still envy the vava voom volume and curls though. 2. "WE HAVE TO BRAID IT OR GET WEAVE TO KEEP UP WITH THIS FAST PACED LIFE AND THIS JUDGMENTAL SOCIETY TO "FIT IN" - yes I agree that the "having to fit in" concept is unfair, but is preventing others from embracing a style not hurting the cause for acceptance? In another clip Loni talks about how her employers had an issue with her braids and she had to wear wigs. By having more women (and men) wearing their hair in braids, would it not make it more acceptable? (Yes I know the fact that it has to be "made" acceptable is ridiculous, it should just be accepted.) I think by excluding people, only adds to the resistance, instead of removing it. 3."EVERYBODY WANNA "ACT" BLACK BUT, DON'T WANNA TAKE ON THE HARDSHIPS THAT WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH." - Loni said something similar to this in the clip. I am not gonna pretend that I understand all the hardships you have to deal with, but I do acknowledge it and have sympathy. I also feel that this statement imply that people that are not black, either don't have any hardships or diminishes their hardships. That's not true, it may not be the same, but it is defiantly not less. For me, as a society our use of language has caused a lot of unnecessary division. We talk as if there are only two sides. Pick one and be opposed to the other. Thus this statement could be seen as either you are black and have hardships or you are not black and have none. Instead of creating acknowledgement and sympathy, we create a divide. I am sure that it was not your intention, and it was not at all how I interpreted it, but in our current global political climate we need to be conscious of how our words could be twisted by someone who feels they have to be opposed to it because they are excluded. What are your thoughts on this? Shay again, thank you for your reply.

She understands it more because she’s aware of the things that happens in the black community (obviously.) conversations like this are typical because we can’t expect everyone to understand everyone’s racial problems; we have too many closed minded people on this earth to make that mentally possible. It’s not that they need more women of a certain race on this show, they need more women who are open to more than one perspective. If you noticed, nobody wanted to listen to no one. I believe that it would be wise to understand the root of this problem. If black beauty (in the U.S.) was not marginalized for centuries, then yes, Jeannie would be right. However, American black beauty has been mocked, condemned, and dehumanized since slavery. The results have been DEVASTATING, and black self-hatred has transferred through the generations. Black women have been taught to hate themselves because of their features. Within the last 45 or so years, non-black women have capitalized on those very features, and on a non-black woman, she is considered beautiful. Apparently, black beauty is beautiful (ie. exotic) when it's on a non-black woman. Because this profound issue underlies a white woman "dressing up" as a black woman, it is vital to not go into this conversation ignorantly. No Jeannie, black women's beauty cannot be compared to a transvestite! At what point will society stop mocking the black woman? And why the pretense over what is a very obvious behavior? This white woman is wearing black beauty as a costume and capitalizing off of it.
