LDR = Long Distance Relationship? No, it’s not ok for a Christian to choose to marry/date a Muslim as Christians shouldn’t be unequally yoked to unbelievers. Yes, it’s a red flag and I would question their values. Are they truly a Christian and are they living in obedience to the bible? Do they truly love and want to honour the God of the bible or desire to live for themselves. It’s a red flag in the sense that they may not be truly saved or a very immature Christian. If the person married to a Muslim became a Christian after marriage then they should stay married if the Muslim spouse is willing to stay married to them. It will be hard but the Lord will give grace.

Am a born again Christian, and am deeply moved by sight when it comes to choosing a woman. Now, 32, and am not married yet, but, not even in a relationship. Most people say I am too sight driven and picky, that I should step it down. They said its not good as a Christian, that sometimes God might choose someone who isn't necessarily your spec physically speaking. What can you say about this??

In as much as we advise that we should not underplay the importance of Physical attraction in choosing a partner, it is not to say we should be "sight driven".. What we have been saying is that physical attraction should not be completely taken off the table, however it's should also not be your main driving factor. Remember we are moved by faith and not by sight as believers - hence you can't build your foundation on just physicals. So in this case, our advise would be for you to tune down the "noise" in terms of your own personal targets and decisions so you can be still enough to listen to what God has to say. He will definitely lead in the right direction where everything will come together and it will all make sense.

@@TheOhEmGees Amen It has to make sense o! I have to marry who my spec (physically) and someone I really like. If I am being honest with myself. I can't even listen to any voice that tells me one fat, short no athletic lady is my spouse. I can't just stand it!!!! Just like you said in the latter end of the second episode. There shouldn't be anything like "let me manage it" because the gap will be on your heart for the rest of your life, when you see someone with the exact characteristics that you like after marriage. If she changes a bit after child bearing, then I would know, at least I got what I wanted, or we would work on it, just like you said again that "making efforts to be your partner's choice and keep to his tatse is key"

@@akindefisayo3267Hello, Good afternoon. I was reading the comments as usual 😂 and I saw yours. So this is my take on this. Your feelings or thoughts about your spec is not wrong. Right? But put those thoughts and feelings in God’s hands. He said cast your burden unto me for he cares. So trust him, he loves it when we put it in his hands and see how he comes through in such a way you will never expect.

⁠​⁠@@TheOhEmGeessecondly, as a man I know appearance is very important but don’t let it be your main priority in looking for a woman, I know you can’t stand some specs but don’t let that particular decision cause unnecessary regrets in the long run. There is so much God has for you that one wrong decision can disrupt. I hope you don’t take it the wrong way. May God grant you more understanding. I wish you the best 😊
