IKR he said he had no idea she was bipolar and tbh there’s nothing wrong with mental illness. But maybe she’s extremely bipolar and not taking meds because she seems extremely manic during interviews. I have close people in my life that are bipolar and the actions when off thier meds can be scary and harmful. This is honest & not bashing anyone. But as soon as he discovered this he should have backed off because a bipolar mistress on a ledge is dangerous to his family. I know he claims he couldn’t stop himself and had no idea why he was doing the things he was doing but let’s call it what it is when adult behaves that way it’s wreckless.

The detectives were speaking to him like that because like the old saying goes "you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar". I am convinced they really wanted to know what happened and after all the attention settled down they knew Chris would love to spill his guts (like a true narcissistic psycopath). He sounded so happy to see them and didn't hesitate to spill. And spill he did. These cops knew exactly what they were saying and doing. They're professionals, trained to talk to people like Chris. They knew how to make him feel like they really cared about him. They told him he didn't have to answer anything he didn't want to, but they worded it all in a way that he would fall into their trap. I'm sure he's realized he was played for the fool. They promised they wouldn't say anything to his parents, but knew when this got released they would damn sure know about it. And Tammy said his picture wouldn't be on social media, but here we are and today he's on social media in his drab green prison garb. Yep...he's a fool and easy to manipulate! I say Bravo to the detectives!! Narcissists love attention and it doesn't matter if it's good or bad - it's attention. He's a nobody in jail, just another sick SOB. I don't buy his crocodile tears - he knows how to perform. He as much as admitted he had no feelings when he had to look up "what does it feel like to love someone" or whatever it was to that effect. If he knew how to "feel" he would have never killed anyone. Sounds like they are keeping him on the "psych" floor. In this "confession" he said that most of the people in his pod/area are on medication, they even offered it to him. He's being kept out of general population for now, but that won't last. Let him keep thinking he wants to "help others" - it's his purpose. Yea right! He wants them to praise him and love him for what he can do for them. The dude is a sick SOB.

I agree with Jessica - it was nice to have a recording that was clear and had good audio. Listening to it and being able to read the report of what he was saying was great. Oh come on! They never pressed him on why he killed the children, never even asked him about the doll photo. When asked about what happened when Bella asked whether he would do to her what he did to Cece-he started saying “and I said..” then quickly changed tack and suddenly couldn’t remember. Wasted opportunities in unasked questions, in not letting him finish sentences and in leading his responses. And treating him like he is now a good man just because he has found religion. I’ve seen people who have blown a reading for drunk driving treated like the worst people in the world by cops-how they are treating this guy is disgusting. To those who are " disgusted" with the detectives, they have to play "buddy buddy" with him. Chris like most criminals shut down when pressured and met with hostility. Chris is very child like and appears to thrive on praise, he opens up more and let's down some of that guard. There's a quote " you catch more bees with honey". That applies in this case with Chris. We have no idea how this case affects Tammy and Graham behind the scenes. They may be losing sleep at night, they were there when the bodies were recovered. I'm a Funeral Director/Embalmer, and we are trained to show very little emotion. Please do not judge these investigators.

I don't believe they had sex. Shanann was exhausted from her delayed flight. She wasn't feeling well and I think all she wanted to do was get some sleep because she had a doctor's appt. that morning. I really believe he strangled her in her sleep (my opinion). And then he went for the girls. It seems he really wanted to torture beautiful little Bella, if we are to believe this second "confession" of his. I think she witnessed him strangling her mommy and she couldn't understand what he was doing. I don't understand why he made them sit in the back seat with their little feet resting on their deceased mommy. I don't understand why he made Bella watch him kill CeCe. I can't comprehend how, as he was ending Bella's life, he continued as she tried like hell to live. He really doesn't deserve to live. I wish he'd off himself after he finally gives us the real truth. We may never get it, but if anyone can pull it out of him I believe it's the awesome team of investigators that showed up unannouced on 02.18.19.

There are several things that stood out to me: Bella was a smart girl and she knew what he had done to Cece, but she waited in the truck for him to come back. Was NK in the truck with her, keeping her calm, and keeping her there? CW said "we" had a shovel and rake. Then, he quickly made sure to specify that "we" was the fieldsmen (not sure if that's what they're called). If he had not needed to protect someone else, NK, then he wouldn't have thought a thing about the fact that he said "we." I have no doubt that NK was in on all of this. I don't think he was initially going to kill the girls, but when Bella walked in on him wrapping Shanann's body in the sheet, he felt that he had no choice. He mentioned that NK would get very mad at him when he was with Shanann, that she tried to make him jealous by dating other guys, and that he doesn't think any of this would have happened if he wouldn't have met NK. He needed someone to tell him what to do, and I believe NK wanted Shanann, not the girls, gone, so she could move into Shanann's life. She pushed him to do it. It's no coincidence that she wanted him to look up "Battery" by Metallica the very day he murdered his family.

It all falls back on his mother. When he was asked why he was so angry at Shannan that made him snap. His reasons were the drama behind the wedding and how his parents didn't even show up, and the incident that happened with the nuts that caused a drift between him and his parents even more. But none of that was Shannans fault! His anger was for his mother but just like his family, he blamed it on Shannan and took it out on her. He should've strangled his evil mother instead!

Yes! Amen. He was helpful, kind and yielded to all his entire life and had a day that he absolutely snapped. He said he had never been angry his entire life and then when he finally after three decades freed his anger emotion he just saw red and couldn’t stop. The detectives said they will come back, maybe in a couple months or a year to question him again. I think they will replay the interview and come up with some new questions. I think they will ask some of the same old questions to see if his story changed. I believe it probably happened mostly the way he said it did...but I think his wife and kids where much more fearful and tried to fight more than he’s letting on. We’ll see if he changes his story at the next interview...

I'm taking what he said, considering he may speak in half truths and coming up with a theory. And it seems to me you may be wanting to pick a fight in the comment section. He may have also choked her to death while she was peacefully asleep. He mentions them being intimate, followed by a period of sleeping. And then he talks about straddling her for 15 to 20 minutes while they talked about the affair and the dissolution of their marriage. There is a reason she didn't fight back, a physical reason. Well I have followed this case from day 1, and for the life of me I couldn't understand why. Had an arrange of emotions hating him, feeling sad listening to her, smile when there were happy times, and read comments. Without seeing his face and able to read his body language, I have to admit I shed a tear. I actually feel some compassion from him. He comes across like a hurt little boy, I am not condoning his behaviour but he clearly is hurting, for himself and for it all. He fucked up hugely, he knows it. Sounds like his life was full of controlling women, he never had a voice. I think he did snap, it got all to much for him. I guess Shanann may have been to busy for him, he felt unloved as some ppl do and he went outside the marriage. Don't get me wrong I am not saying any of it is OK, but having studied pychology I can see the bigger picture. I see comments where ppl say he has no remorse, he's lying.... You don't know, I heard emotion in his voice doing the interview. Too many are closing their minds off and just saying what they want cos they hate him. Which is why these cops are doing a great job, of befriending him to make his comfortable. Can't go in attacking someone, hating on them and expect them to talk. In a way I think he's happier where he is. His family played a big part in his disfunctional thoughts. Also if he has never grown up being shown emotion, he won't know how to express it. He is either an extremely professional liar, or there is room to doubt it was premeditated. This is my opinion anyway.

I can see it too... I'm still a bit wary though, bc if he truly is a narc or sociopath, they are very good at mimicking emotions and manipulating people. I think he believes he is remorseful in his own way, but I dnt think he feels the same emathy we do, he might not be capable of it. He said it his self, he doesn't know why but he doesn't feel the same emotions other people do. He even mentioned that he seen the difference in the love and emotion his parents lacked compared to how Shannans parents showed it. Specifically, a time when Shannans parents started crying during their goodbyes, after living with them for over a year. He thought about how he never witness his mom or dad have the same reaction. His parents failed him, his mom is sick too, and it had a huge impact on his mental health, and how he ended up here. He knows he is different. It saddens me really.

If what he says is true (I believe only Bella was alive), he drove those kids out there for 45 minutes sitting on top of his dead pregnant wife their mother, with trash bags on her feet and feet, knowing he was going to kill them. He watched them snuggle, he says he killed CeCe put her in the oil tank then came back to kill Bella. He was stone cold sober when he did this. NK did a Hansel and Gretel on him, she told him she wanted to give him his 1st son so he killed his pregnant wife and his children because NK would give him a new family once they ran off. I think f. ing up would be like running a red light with your big iron truck and killing a family. The things he did require too much work and effort some sort of consciousness and intent had to go into it. He is lying and pretending he is up to something.

kiwiexplorer 76 Well said. In those innumerable videos he was in, he always seemed uncomfortable and out of his comfort zone, not at ease. He chose a wife like his mother and that is not to say anything disparaging about them, but the interaction and dominance built up to a point - along with the possibility of freedom from control - and he snapped. His incarceration has given him the opportunity to think for himself and somehow he seems more free and at ease than he did in any of those videos. He found the Lord and is developing a relationship with Him which should be the primary focus for all of us. The rat race called our lives on earth is a huge distraction towards knowing God. It's a horrible situation and mystifying, but there is a lot to be learned if we can look deeper than our reaction to his deeds that terrible day.

Isn't it strange that when they asked about his sentencing and what triggered his emotions, he said it was when frank called him a monster and his parents saying they forgave him? No mention of when the prosecuter read out the horrid details of poor bella fighting for her life or the state of his babies bodies when they were retrieved? God if anything you'd think hearing the detailed account of that should trigger the devastation of what he actually did..

Who's we when they asked about the rack. He said we had a rack shovel weed wacker. Were those tools something they all had in the truck?? Because who's we??? He's still doing the same thing when asked a question he doesn't want to answer skirts around mumblings pauses Nk did the same thing. But once they asked about Nk no problem recalling details. I still believe this is a pieced together version. He also said Rzucek family cried when they left NC but his didnt they don't cry. That said a lot to me about that family and helps explain that cooled chill we all see and feel.
