Thanks Jes, loved hanging out with you and your family. I love doing those kinds of projects such gratifying results at the end of the day. Y'all do it just like we would have done it. Just try to find something that will work until ya know what you truly want. Your mama sure raised some wonderful kids. Love how ya'll just come together, jump in and work together. You have such a wonderful family!!! Are there 5 kids all together? There are 5 kids in my family also, when we would get together to help do yard work and my mother's yard it starts out just like yours, you go in the house, Mom's got to make something to eat and before you know it you're telling stories laughing, carrying on and the hours go by and same thing it may not be perfect but the yard always looks 10 times better!!!!❤

You all are real "troopers". You make your Mom very proud. 😊 I was raised in small town Midwest so I can relate to you and your family. My home town is only about 5-700. My gr grandpa helped settle it. It's on a lake and near a resort town (of around 6-7000 I now live in )so that keeps it going somewhat. But we lost our school a few yrs. ago due to lack of funding. I wanted my grandchildren to graduate from there but didn't happen. It was sold to a private school this Summer. 😥 p.s. I saw deer standing out in the field and they were probably thinking "Oh look they're creating an opening for us to get to that ladies garden. whoop whoop! " LOL

I would loved to of been a fly on the wall at the luncheon while you all were discussing on how to solve the world’s problems… but I’d gladly settle for a sit down family interview with mom and the siblings …though just a thought 😊❤

I assume those winds were coming from Hurricane Helene. A split rail fence would be divine and harken back in time with a beautiful view above them. That would probably keep the plants low lying to see out above them. Some junipers or low growing structural evergreens would be beautiful with some pops of color. You guys are so helpful. I know you enjoy the family time. It makes me wish I had brothers and a big family and that I had more children so my some could have siblings to grow old with.

It's so wonderful to see you all working together for your momma! It blesses me to see you and your brothers and the whole family helping to improve that area for her! I grew up in a small town in Iowa even slightly smaller! We knew everyone there! It was awesome to grow up that way when it was safe to run around town on bikes and our mom didn't even know where we were until supper time! Thanks for sharing this project!
