Hey SAS! Try adding the tomatoes with the pork while you let it simmer, that’s how we Filipinos cook it. And use fish sauce to add that different taste of umami! Love you!!

Hi Sas! Other way to cook Sinigang in a deliciously ways is to Sautè the garlic, onion, tomato ( if tomatoes are looking like it was smashed).. after that add the pork let it simmer and add the hard veggies including the Gabi (TARO) to make the soup thicker then add the pre mixx the KNORR brand is more savory. Add the other veggies. Tip: best sauce for it is Fish sause( Patis) kalamansi (Lemon will do), sili (chili) Love you all from Philippines ❤❤

Ohh how sinigang soothes the soul ☺️ just need a side of patis with chilli to dip everything in… I think the “all green” package that Sissi mentioned is the mix made by Knorr. I’ve been making it with the hot and spicy mix from Mama Sita… it is soooo good! Just the perfect amount of heat to it that doesn’t overpower the other flavours 🤤 but I’m also in the “more sour and more heat in sinigang is better club” 😏

That is one good sinigang! Kudos sas for making a delicious looking sinigang! I also use bokchoy just like you did! We normally use knorr sinigang mix but mama sitas is also a very good brand. In fact mama SITA is a bit more pricey than knorr
