I see. This is how it works. A pad track is just like a Style track. The same features are available for a Pad track...the only difference is that you need to press the pad button to actually get it started. I've done this many times even with older Pa800.

Do you want to know how to import a midi track into a Pad from DAW? If that's what you're asking here's how I've done it. Do a single midi track (let's say for Pad 1). Then set the output of the track to Channel 10. Now if you import it in the keyboard, you'll be able to see it.
